Chapter 1232

Tobias gave him a look of disgust. He got up, took out a handkerchief from his pocket, and wipedhis hands. Then he kicked Eason, who was on the ground, and said in disgust, "Get out of here.Don't show up in front of me ever again!"

Hearing his words, Eason got up and ran away on unsteady legs.

I breathed a sigh of relief and looked around. "I should take a taxi later when I'm going back. It's notsafe," I thought to myself.

After cleaning his hands, Tobias turned around to look at me, and asked, "Do you need a ride?" Hewanted me to leave.

I quickly shook my head. "No, thank you!"

When I was about to start walking in the direction of where I came from, I realized Tobias wasfollowing behind me. I asked in confusion, "Is there anything else, Mr. Hayes?"

He rolled his eyes at me and said, "Are you the only one who can walk on this path?"

I shook my head. "Of course not!"

He shrugged. "All's good then."novelbin

I sighed. "What a strange person," I thought. After walking some distance, I heard a phone ring.Wait, that was my phone, but where is it?

I looked around me and realized that my bag was with one of the men behind Tobias.

Tobias gave them a signal, and they took my phone out of my bag. When I went to get it, Tobiassnatched it away.

With my eyes widened, I watched as he answered the call with no expression on his face. "Hello,Mr. Roberts. It's Tobias here!"

It was a call from Hendrix.

"Tobias, what are you doing?" I was getting angry. Why did this guy have no bottom line? This is myphone. How could he answer someone's phone like that?

He raised the phone when I tried to grab it. I had no idea what Hendrix said, but Tobias had alreadyhung up the phone. He looked down at me and said, "You want it?"

I held back my anger and said, "Tobias, this is my phone. Didn't your mother teach you not to takepeople's things without asking for permission?"

Looking at his darkened face, I felt a little terrified.

The next thing I knew, my phone was thrown to the ground. Because he threw it hard, it wassmashed into pieces. I felt a little distressed about my phone. They all died an unusual death. It wastoo pitiful to have me as their owner.

I was so frightened by his anger that I didn't dare to say a word. I just stared blankly at him, feelingconfused.

He squinted, obviously trying to hold back his anger. "My mother indeed did not teach me. What'sthe matter? Huh? What's the matter? Do you want to teach me?"

With a darkened face, he slowly approached me. I was scared. I took a few steps back, almostfalling down. He looked at me with disdain; his eyes were icy cold. "Only Hendrix, who has a lowtaste, would be interested in you. You are really lucky."

My blood was boiling. I retorted, "Tobias, are you out of your mind? Can't you just talk properly? Youmake me sick!"

I squatted down to pick up the broken phone on the ground. He gave me a little push and I fell tothe ground. I watched as he left with his men.

It was rather baffling. "Psycho," I concluded.
