Chapter 793

Every day at the funeral home, various forms of separation and departure due to death werewitnessed. In the hospital, there was always a glimmer of hope, even if it was just a tiny sign that theperson was still alive. However, when they arrived at the funeral home, that hope vanished forever.

Vibrant individuals became lifeless bodies in this place, and once all the procedures were completed, one would vanish from this world the moment the button to start the cremation furnace was pressed.

At first, the body disappeared, but gradually, friends and family would forget them. The living moved onwith their new lives, while the deceased became a part of memories. Some might briefly think of thedeparted, but life returned to its ordinary routines.novelbin

Bradley’s large hand clutched his chest tightly. His heart pounded wildly, and he felt every heartbeat. When he saw the person in the coffin, he truly felt the profound meaning of parting in life and death.

Esther had vanished from his world, and he would never find any trace of her in this world again.

Bradley took slow, deliberate steps toward the coffin, but Kevin stood in his way. “Bradley, stop!”

Kevin blocked Bradley. Knowing Bradley’s personality, he might try to take Esther’s body.

Kevin believed that since Esther would rather drive the car off a cliff than be taken away by Bradley, she mustn’t want the last part of her journey to be disturbed by him.

“Kevin, move aside!”

Kevin replied coldly, “I won’t. I won’t let you torment Esther again. Bradley, if you want to do anythingmore to Esther, you’ll have to step over me!”

Jasper stood by Kevin’s side, his handsome face filled with indescribable sorrow. “Bradley, none of uswelcome you.”

Kevin added, “That’s right, none of us welcome you.”

This time, Bradley didn’t leave or dodge. He had to…

“Mr. Searle.”

Just as Bradley and Jasper faced off, the security team that Jasper had arranged arrived.

“Block him, and don’t let him get any closer to the coffin,” Jasper instructed.

“Yes, sir.”

The old Jasper used to worry that he might be too forceful, which would hurt Esther because he knewthat there was a place for Bradley in her heart. Now, he no longer cared about Esther’s wishes. Hewanted to keep Bradley far away from her forever.

“Bradley, Esther is my wife. What right do you have?”

Bradley raged, never expecting that his divorce from Esther would put him in such a passive position.
