Chapter 782

Upon entering the sanatorium, Mandy spotted Liora and a middle-aged gentleman, dancing. This leftMandy feeling perplexed. She had been informed that Liora wasn’t feeling well, so why was shedancing?

“Mandy, you’re here,” Liora exclaimed with joy. “This is Wayne Perry. I fainted while taking a walkoutside, and he brought me back.”

Liora appeared bashful as she said that, which tugged at Mandy’s heart.

“Hello, Mr. Perry.”

Wayne remarked, “I won’t disrupt your mother-and-daughter chat. I’ll be on my way.”

“Take care, Wayne.”

As Mandy watched Liora and Wayne bid farewell at the entrance, she couldn’t help but rub hertemples.

After a while, Liora approached Mandy and asked, “Mandy, what do you think of Wayne?”

“He seems quite scholarly,” Mandy replied.

Liora sighed and confided, “Wayne is single, and I…”

“It’s your life, your choice.” Mandy easily discerned that Liora’s heart was beginning to flutter. She hadbeen under the impression Liora and Richard had a loving relationship, and even with Richard inprison, Liora would remain faithful. Little did she know that Liora was already seeking a new partner.

“Mandy, you don’t object to me dating, do you?”

“I don’t.”

“Really?”

Impatiently, Mandy replied, “You can do as you please. Just don’t call me over for no reason. Bradley iswaiting for me outside. I’m leaving.”

Mandy felt no emotional attachment to Liora, so if the latter wanted to date, she would welcome it withopen arms. It was a perfect opportunity to rid herself of this burden.

Mandy got into the car, and Bradley ordered, “Drive.”

“Yes, Mr. Warner,” the driver said.

Mandy’s phone rang, and she promptly answered it.

“Hello.”

“I’m not in a good mood right now, and I want to have a drink. Find a way to get Bradley to take you toa bar,” X commanded.

Upon hearing X’s emotionless, robotic voice words, Mandy glanced at her phone screen. After alengthy pause, she turned to Bradley and said, “Bradley, can I go to a bar for a drink?”novelbin

Bradley refused, “There’s alcohol at the manor.”

“I don’t want to drink alone in the manor. I just want to have a drink at the bar. If you’re worried that Imight reveal Esther’s presence at Warner Manor, you can come with me, but… I really want to… justhave a drink.”

Half an hour later, Bradley dropped Mandy off at a bar.

The two of them entered the bar together, instantly becoming the center of attention.

Mandy darkly downed one shot of strong liquor after another.

On the other hand, Bradley remained engrossed in his work, his aloof demeanor oddly attractingnumerous young girls who surrounded him like moths to a flame.

“Mr. Warner, care for a drink!”

Seeing that the girls were not afraid to tempt fate by drinking with Bradley, Mandy facilitated it. Sheexcused herself to visit the restroom, where she encountered Jasper in a well-fitted suit.

“Mr. Searle?”

Jasper looked at Mandy. “Ms. Pendleton, how about we make a deal?”
