Chapter 715

Xara and Steffan heard Sunshine crying in the distance. Worried, Xara disregarded her high heels asshe hurried over to Bradley. “What are you doing to my daughter?!”

Upon hearing that Sunshine was Xara’s daughter, Bradley released his grip on her. “She’s yourdaughter?”

Sunshine rushed into Xara’s arms. “Mommy, he’s a bad guy.”

Xara tenderly held Sunshine, patting her trembling back. She asked, “Would she be yours otherwise?”

Steffan approached, placing a hand on Xara’s shoulder. He berated Bradley sternly, “As a man, youshouldn’t bully children.”

“I didn’t bully her.” Bradley calmly met Steffan’s gaze. “They were acting violently toward me.”

“That’s because you’re bad! You bullied Mommy!” Sunshine shouted defiantly from Xara’s embrace.

For a moment, Bradley thought Sunshine resembled Esther. Knowing Esther’s situation, he consideredit a coincidence.

“Jacob,” Steffan called.

“I’m here.”

Steffan glanced at Bradley and told Jacob, his tone chilling, “As the big brother, you should protect youryounger siblings. If this happens again, don’t hold back. I’ll support you.”

Steffan’s words were like a slap to Bradley’s face.

Bradley didn’t pay attention to Steffan’s warning. Instead, he pulled Felix over. “Kneel.”novelbin

Felix obediently knelt beside Bradley.

Sunshine, her face red with anxiety, defended him. “Felix, you’re not allowed to kneel!”

Bradley coldly replied, “Mr. Sanderson, focus on your daughter.”

He had no intention of making Sunshine his daughter-in-law. How dare the crazy Esther secretlyarrange a marriage for Felix without his consent! Her audacity was getting out of hand.

Suddenly, a sharp pain gripped Bradley’s heart, causing him to clutch his chest and bend over. Theindicator light went out at the same time.

Looking at the extinguished light, Felix asked fearfully, “Daddy, did Mommy die?”

Bradley sternly scolded him as he lay on the floor, “Felix, be quiet!”

Felix covered his mouth, tears streaming down his face. ‘Mommy, please don’t die. Mommy…Mommy…’

Seeing Felix like this, Xara couldn’t help but tear up. She hugged Felix and softly reassured him, “Felix, your mom will be fine.”

“Really?” Felix asked.

Xara handed him a tissue and wiped away his tears.
