Chapter 484

Chapter 484

The woman’s voice in the recording wasn’t hers. They repeated the same trick and faked the recording.

“Your Honor, this recording can’t be evidence,” Tanya promptly objected.

Jonathan asked, “We’d like our witness, Ms. Anstey, to testify.”

Esther and Jasper never expected Bradley to agree to let Liliane testify to win.

“Granted.”

The disfigured Liliane stepped forward under everyone’s scrutiny.

Bradley’s legal team was undoubtedly made up of top law school graduates. They pooled all availableresources to secure victory.

“Ms. Liliane Anstey, did Ms. Esther Quill coldly refuse my client’s request to donate bone marrow toFelix Warner for his illness? Please answer with yes or no,” Jonathan asked.

Liliane held deep resentment toward Esther. If not for her, Leah wouldn’t be in prison. Her biologicalfather, Shane, wouldn’t be in trouble. She wouldn’t have been disfigured by that lunatic, Liam, either.

Now that she looked neither like a monster, on what grounds did Esther deserve happiness?

“Yes.”

Jonathan smirked with a hint of triumph. He bet Esther and her lawyer hadn’t expected Liliane to testify.

Esther’s reluctance to donate bone marrow made sense since she didn’t know Felix was her son at thetime. But would the judge consider this? Would the jurors and the public agree?

Unlikely!novelbin

They would likely view it as Esther refusing to save her own son to get back at Bradley. Bradley hadtaken extreme measures to save his son during a crucial time. While not legal, wasn’t it normal for afather to have overwhelming love for his child?

“Ms. Anstey, did my client, Mr. Warner, bring all his work affairs to the hospital room in order to takecare of the ill Felix? Please answer with yes or no.”

“Yes.”

Liliane’s eyes fixed on Esther’s gorgeous face. Why did she always target Esther? Esther possessed abeauty beyond comparison that drove her to madness with jealousy.

“Ms. Anstey, did my client, Mr. Warner, diligently fulfill the obligations of a father after Felix’s birth?”

Esther stared at Liliane’s disfigured face, feeling a strong surge of anger.

‘Bradley! You’re willing to use your real enemy just to win this lawsuit!’ she thought.

Unfortunately, Esther lacked sufficient evidence to accuse Liliane despite the latter admitting in Felix’shospital room that she had removed Thomas’ oxygen mask

Liliane gazed at the visibly flustered Esther and firmly said, “Yes.”
