Chapter 221

The revelation of people they knew being in the prison hospital was the reason behind it all. Adding tothat, they had lied to Esther, telling her that her child had died when she woke up after giving birth inthe prison hospital. They even denied her the chance to see her child one last time, all with theintention of forcibly separating her from her children.

The harsh reality of their past was brutally exposed before Esther’s eyes, plunging her into an abyss ofdespair. She felt an urgent need to escape, to flee with Felix.novelbin

If Shane was Liliane’s biological father, he wouldn’t simply want to keep her confined without disruptingthe wedding, just like the previous car accident. What Shane truly desired was her heart.

Esther had to come up with a plan to escape. Clearly, she couldn’t win over the two

kidnappers, and trying to overpower them by force would be futile. The only way out was to outsmartthem.

A commotion erupted among the Anstey guests as soon as Shane and Liliane entered the venue. Noone had expected that the man escorting the bride, Liliane, down the aisle would be Shane instead ofBilly.

There were quite a few people in attendance who were aware of Shane’s background. After all, theyhad been involved in significant business dealings, often attracting a fair share of problematic relatives.

For the right amount of money, Shane could obtain a medical parole certificate from the prison hospitaland employ various means to evade legal consequences. However, nobody had anticipated that thisruthless and cunning prison director would have such a familiar connection with the bride-to-be.

Liliane’s high heels gracefully trod on the carpet, each step feeling as if she was walking on clouds, creating an ethereal and surreal atmosphere.

The hall fell into a hushed silence, with only the sound of Liliane’s heartbeat resonating like a drum, apleasant melody to her ears.

Liliane scanned the room, but Esther was nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately, Esther couldn’t witnessthe man she loved marrying Liliane.

The short distance between Liliane and Bradley felt like an insurmountable chasm.

Finally, Shane led her to Bradley, who stood before her in formal attire.

Bradley, who was already handsome and noble, appeared even more divine and perfect in his formalattire, emanating a sense of flawlessness from every strand of his hair.

In terms of family background, appearance, character, and various other aspects, Bradley was the idealchoice as a husband.

Shane held Liliane’s hand and gently placed it in Bradley’s palm. “Bradley, I’m entrusting Liliane to you. Please make her the happiest woman in the world.”

A tinge of icy coldness flickered on Bradley’s beautiful face, and his deep, profound eyes

replied coldly, “Don’t ask. Even if you do, we won’t tell you.’

“Someone instructed you to prevent me from attending the wedding, didn’t they?”

The black-clad men remained silent, their brows furrowed.

Understanding their reluctance to answer, Esther refrained from pushing further. She shifted. her gazeback to the phone, watching the wedding broadcast together with them.

As her

eyes focused on the small screen, the realization that she was in the prison hospital sparked awhirlwind of thoughts in her mind. In a sudden flash of insight, she finally understood how Liliane hadmanaged to snatch her son away from the prison hospital.
