Chapter 222

Bradley released Liliane’s hand, surprising her. Before she could inquire, a female bodyguard dressedas a bridesmaid stepped forward to adjust her dress.

Despite not standing in the designated position assigned by the wedding company, Liliane interpretedBradley’s actions as his way of taking care of her.

The priest held a Bible and walked to the center of Bradley and Liliane. “May both of you place yourhands on the Bible.”

Bradley and Liliane simultaneously placed their hands on the Bible.

The priest addressed Liliane, “Ms. Liliane Anstey, do you willingly marry Bradley as your husband, forbetter or worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, forsaking all others?”

Blushing, Liliane looked at Bradley and said excitedly and tremblingly, “I do.”

Her lifelong wish had finally come true, filling her heart with indescribable joy.

After hearing Liliane’s reply, the priest turned to Bradley and asked gently, “Mr. Bradley Warner, do youwillingly take Liliane as your wife, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, forsaking all others?”

Dressed in a suit that accentuated his perfect figure, Bradley exuded an air of dignity and elegance. Hisfacial features were astonishingly perfect, resembling a work of art. Not only that, but he alsopossessed an inexplicable charm that captivated women worldwide, coupled with a privileged familybackground, exceptional intelligence, and unparalleled looks.

“I don’t.”

With slightly parted lips, Bradley withdrew his hand from the Bible. His suppressed killing intent wasunleashed in that instant.

The words “I don’t” reverberated through the microphone and live camera, reaching millions of people.

The venue erupted into chaos!novelbin

The guests were too shocked to maintain their composure, staring at the couple on the stage indisbelief.

Upon hearing Bradley’s rejection, Leah and Shane approached to demand an explanation. However, before they could act, they were forcefully escorted onto the stage by the bodyguards, displayingdominance.

Leah had initially believed that Bradley’s numerous bodyguards were for their protection. Now, sherealized that they were meant to guard against them.

Standing opposite Bradley, Liliane felt her mind go blank and her ears buzz upon hearing his rejection.

It took her a moment to find her voice, trembling as she asked, “Brad, did you say the wrong thing?”

An icy frost covered Bradley’s unparalleled handsome face.

His words, like a sharp knife, pierced Liliane’s heart deeply. “Liliane, I have never considered marryingyou.”

Liliane staggered, nearly fainting. The nurse swiftly supported her, and Dr. Holden

administered medication to keep her heart functioning and ensure she remained conscious to face theconsequences of her actions.

“Brad, don’t you care about Felix?”

Bradley sneered coldly. “Liliane, is Felix the only thing you care about now?”

Suddenly, Liliane realized Felix was not present. No, to be precise, since discovering Felix and Esthertogether, any trace of compassion she had for Felix had vanished.

Her intention was to take Felix’s life!

“When you brought Felix to me, you claimed he was my son. Now, in front of millions of viewers, tellme, is Felix my son?”
