Chapter 834: Surprise

Chapter 834: Surprise

When Camille heard the man's voice, she instantly turned her head to look at him. She stared at Ayan

for a few seconds, her eyes widening slightly, and her expression becoming somewhat flustered. "No,"

she said.

Ayan crossed his arms in front of his chest, his gaze calm and collected as he looked at her. The look

in his eyes seemed to be telling Camille not to pretend, as if he had already guessed everything.

Camille didn't want to look at him. She directly avoided his gaze, closed the drawer, and stopped

looking. She pretended to search around, and finally took out two pairs of socks. She said, "You didn't

help me pack socks. I want to bring two pairs."

After saying that, she walked past Ayan without looking at him and stuffed the two pairs of socks into

her suitcase.

This episode passed quickly, and Camille's embarrassment didn't last long.

The driver took the two of them to the airport, and along the way, Ayan held her hand and took care of

her.

They had dinner on the plane, and since it was a nearly three-hour flight, after they finished eating,

Ayan found a newly released movie for them to watch together.

Shortly after the movie ended, the plane landed.

Ayan had already arranged for a car to pick them up, and they were taken directly to the hotel they

were staying at.

After putting down their luggage, it wasn't too late. Camille took a shower, changed into fresh clothes,

and put on a light makeup. Then, she finally dialed Sienna's number.

She hadn't told Sienna beforehand that she was coming, as they had only discussed coming to Flento

City last night, and now she was already here.

Wasn't this surprise surprising enough?

Camille had already started imagining Sienna's reaction when she saw her. She must be very surprised

and happy, right?

Sienna answered the phone, her voice sounding a bit tired. "What's up?"

Camille asked, "What's wrong? You don't sound very happy!"

"You're not here with me, how can I be happy?"

"Is that so?"

"Do I sound like I'm lying to you?" Sienna gave a light snort, her face showing extreme displeasure.

She said, "Just say it, why did you call me? Are you going to tell me about you and Ayan and make menovelbin

envious again?"

"I'm not that kind of person." Camille smiled faintly. Ayan was sitting on the other side and didn't disturb

her phone call, but his gaze had been fixed on her the whole time. Camille felt a bit shy being watched,

furrowed her brows slightly, gave him an annoyed glance, and then turned away to give him her back.

She said softly, "Where are you right now? Are you outside or back at your apartment?"

Sienna replied, "I just arrived at my apartment building."

"Just got back?"

"Yeah." Sienna frowned, feeling something unusual about Camille's chattering. She asked, "Why are

you asking so many questions? Do you have some ulterior motive?"

Camille: "Don't misunderstand me, I just want to give you a surprise. I've prepared a gift for you, and it

should be delivered by a courier soon. It would be best if you quickly go upstairs, take a shower, and

change into a different outfit to welcome the arrival of the gift. Otherwise, the courier will record a video

for me, and if I see you looking messy, I'll definitely laugh at you. Maybe I'll even send it directly to Rex,

and then your image will be completely ruined. But don't blame me for that, I already reminded you,

right?"

Sienna asked somewhat skeptically, "Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking? Let me check the time... hmm... it should take around half an hour, maybe a

bit more. Should you have enough time?"

After Camille finished speaking, she stood up, and Ayan immediately followed suit. They walked out of

the hotel, heading towards the elevator.

Camille said, "Alright, I'm going to have dinner with Ayan. You should start getting ready. If you really

think it doesn't matter and you don't need to prepare, that's fine. After all, the surprise I have for you is

definitely beyond your expectations."

With that, Camille ended the conversation with Sienna.

Then, arm in arm, they entered the elevator together. Ayan looked at Camille's face, radiant with a

smile, and couldn't help but say, "You're willing to go through all this trouble to prepare various

surprises for her."

Camille nodded unabashedly and said, "Because she's too lonely here on her own, and we're very,

very good friends. She's always been very kind to me. Now, the only thing I can do is make her feel a

little warmth in her loneliness. In the end, there's probably only Rex who can surprise her for a lifetime."

Camille genuinely cared for Sienna, but her concern could only exist within the boundaries of friendship

because there were certain things she couldn't do. Even if she did, Sienna wouldn't accept it. Only the

most intimate partner could provide her with constant support and comfort.

The two of them took a car directly to Sienna's place.

During the journey, Sienna hadn't completely snapped out of her thoughts about Camille's words. She

had imagined countless possibilities but still couldn't figure out what kind of surprise Camille had in

store for her.

Was it something she couldn't even imagine? What could it be?

Sienna pursed her lips slightly and pondered for a while before getting out of the car and heading

upstairs. But to avoid Camille seeing her in a disheveled and tired state, she quickly took a simple

shower and changed into casual clothes. She rarely wore casual clothes since she usually dressed

professionally for work.

With her hair tied up high in a ponytail, she realized that there were only two or three minutes left

before the half-hour mark. Surprisingly, she felt a hint of nervousness.

She felt like a child, eagerly anticipating the arrival of a surprise. The feeling made her heart race.

As she regulated her breathing, the doorbell suddenly rang.

She took a deep breath, got up, and went to open the door. She leaned in to look through the peephole

to see what surprise Camille had prepared. However, the peephole was blocked, evidently per

Camille's instructions. So, with no other option, she opened the door directly.

As soon as the door opened, she heard a familiar woman's voice say, "Surprise!"

Camille's beautiful face appeared before her eyes, but Sienna remained frozen, without any reaction.

Seeing her expression, Camille raised her hand and waved it in front of Sienna, laughing, "Hello, are

you okay? Did I startle you?"

Sienna still stood there, motionless. Her mind went blank, and everything seemed frozen.

How could the person who had just been talking on the phone about having dinner with Ayan suddenly

appear in front of her?

This was too surreal, wasn't it?

She opened her mouth and said incredulously, "So, you really came to Flento City?"

"I'm standing right in front of you. Is there any doubt?"

Camille couldn't help but laugh.

Only then did Sienna happily reach out and embrace Camille. They hugged tightly, completely

disregarding Ayan, who was standing to the side.

After a while, when both Sienna and Camille had calmed down, they let go of the embrace.

Sienna looked at Camille with slightly reddened eyes and said, "Why didn't you tell me you were

coming to Flento City? I could have picked you up!"

Sienna exchanged a glance with Ayan, nodding slightly as a way of greeting him, and then immediately

invited both of them inside.

Camille said, "Because I wanted to surprise you. Now, take this opportunity to show us around Flento

City. Find a nice place to treat us to a meal!"

"Alright, let's go now," Sienna replied, grabbing her bag and hurrying off. She drove with Camille and

Ayan to her favorite quiet and casual bar, known for its great snacks.

The three of them found an inconspicuous spot to sit. Sienna took the initiative and said, "I often come

here alone when I have nothing to do."

Camille felt a pang of sympathy and said, "Now, I'm here with you."

Sienna smiled.

They hadn't seen each other in a long time, but they didn't feel the slightest bit distant. They sat

together, chatting away, completely ignoring Ayan. But Ayan didn't mind at all because his phone rang

at that moment.

He glanced at his phone, then said to the two of them, "You two continue talking. I need to take this call

outside."

Ayan walked out of the restaurant with his phone. Watching his figure, Sienna asked, "Mr. Simpson

won't be angry, will he? He won't feel unhappy that I'm monopolizing you?"
