However, Rainee had always been a very controlling person. She did not allow him to smoke or drink if it was not for businesspurposes, and she even had a curfew for him to obey. She would call him nonstop if he was not home after ten o'clock.
He felt as though Rainee chose him only because he was an easy person to contain, and he could easily satisfy her desire forcontrol.

Albert and Hylda were both shocked. They turned around and saw Stella's nonchalant face from not far away with Keegan, whothey had not seen for a long time, standing beside her.
They stood about two or three feet apart from each other, looking neither too intimate nor distant. But, the looks on their faceswere very indifferent.
