Chapter 463 None of His Business

What did she do to deserve this?!

What right did a nurse like Lucy have to give birth to Damien’s child?

Lucy didn’t bother about Madelynn for the time being. She was a nurse, and she had a first aid kit at

home. It had scissors, gauze, ointments, and whatever she needed to perform first aid.

As Lucy walked toward the first aid kit, Madelynn pounced on her.novelbin

“I won’t let you take care of his wound!”

“Fuck off!” Lucy was enraged.

She had a gentle personality, but that was only on the surface. On the inside, she was the tough type

and she was capable of anything if someone were to step on her tail.

No one had ever dared to tell Madelynn to fuck off. A furious Madelynn held onto the gauze, not

allowing Lucy to take it.

The little boy’s cries grew even louder when he saw the two adults fighting.

“Buddy, don’t cry! Mommy’s right here,” Lucy coaxed him.

“You cheap, disgusting wench! You must’ve pulled some dirty trick to get Damien into bed. I’m going to

kill you!” Madelynn’s eyes were bloodshot.

She had been on a downward spiral for the past few years. No one wanted to take her on for any film

roles, and she had to rely on her face while meeting ends meet as an influencer. When Damien and

Clarissa had gotten divorced, she thought that she had a chance. To her horror, Lucy had beaten her to

the punch and had even gotten pregnant with Damien’s child. Madelynn couldn’t help feeling useless.

At the same time, she saw Lucy as a shameless vixen.

At the thought of this, Madelynn’s wrath rose. She grabbed the scissors from the first aid kit and swung

them at Lucy.

She stabbed Lucy in the palm, making Lucy lose her mind completely. Strength surged in Lucy’s body

as she grabbed the scissors from Madelynn and stabbed her in the chest.

Madelynn immediately collapsed in a pool of blood.

It was only then that Lucy felt fearful.

The blood trickled downstairs, and her neighbor came up to check what was going on.

Lucy was slumped on the floor, mumbling, “I’ve murdered someone…”

There was a child next to her whose head was covered in blood. He was crying at the top of his lungs.

Madelynn didn’t regain consciousness, but her heart was still beating. When Damien heard about this,

she was still in the emergency room.

Lucy, on the other hand, was arrested. The unfortunate child was left to his own devices.

Rumor had it that the child belonged to Damien, so the police asked Damien to return to Genovia.

All this happened because of the clothes and nutritious products that Damien had asked Madelynn to

take to Lucy.

Damien drove back to Genovia. Neil had already fallen asleep in the back seat.

Despite the chaotic incident, he was very calm and composed..

He was happy with either Lucy killing Madelynn, or vice versa. Either way, he would be killing two birds

with one stone.

Madelynn had pretended to be his savior and had kept him in the dark for so many years, and she later

tried to kill Grandpa Lawrence. At that time, Damien had already wanted to kill her. After that, Monica

had claimed that Madelynn was pregnant, leading to Clarissa going into labor prematurely. He didn’t

have any evidence for this, but they deserved to die a terrible death!

Now that Lucy had killed someone, she would definitely be spending the rest of her life in prison.

The end result was that two of his biggest threats were taken care of.

As for himself, he knew very clearly there was no way he would be implicated.

The root cause of this whole matter was an outbreak of jealousy. The murder happened in the heat of

the moment and had nothing to do with him.

Lucy was just unlucky enough to get caught up in the mess.

……

“President Lawrence, what am I going to do? My daughter’s still unconscious in the hospital! How

much money am I going to have to fork out?” At Hill Villa, Monica was wailing at the top of her lungs.

“Why does she have to suffer so?”

“Don’t you have plenty of property?” Damien said mildly, his legs crossed.

Monica had such a poor memory. She had already forgotten how she lied about Madelynn being

pregnant with Damien’s child. Here she was again, begging Damien for help.

She was taken aback. “But… I’m afraid that selling the property won’t help much.”

“There’s nothing that I can do about that. Why don’t you sell the property first and come to me if you

really don’t have enough? Even though she was the one who did me wrong, I doubt you can ask

anyone else for help.”

Monica was rendered speechless.

Damien had already pointed out that Madelynn was the one who had done him wrong. Madelynn being

badly injured was a huge blow to Monica, but if she had to sell her property to save Madelynn, how was

she going to keep up appearances?

If Damien didn’t know the truth about the cornea, she could still get him to foot the bill, which she knew

he would gladly do. Now, however, they had lost their trump card.

Monica left.
