Chapter 462 Jealousy Outbreak
“Go on,” Damien said.
Earlier, he hadn’t used an umbrella. The light rain drizzling down on him gave him a very romantic vibe,
and it also made Clarissa feel a little cold. She kept thinking of holding her umbrella above him.
At this moment, however, Damien suddenly couldn’t feel the rain anymore. He thought it had stopped,

“President Lawrence, you’re going to feel bad if you catch a cold from this rain,” Caleb said when
Damien hung up.
“Thanks.” Damien strode back toward the group.
After a moment, Caleb followed him. Earlier, he noticed the way Clarissa had looked at Damien as he
stood in the rain. Perhaps she was feeling uncomfortable on his behalf and she wanted to go over to
him, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
That was why Caleb had gone over.
Damien said to Charles, “Something’s cropped up at Genovia, and I have to head back. Let’s end the
inspection here.”
“Is it something serious?” Charles asked worriedly.
“No, it’s not a big deal. Since the inspection for Ashland is done, let’s get to work. Alex will keep an eye
on things here.” After that, Damien turned and strode away without a look back.
Clarissa watched him leave, thinking, ‘What’s happened at Genovia? Why does Damien have to rush
back immediately?’
Damien went back to Grandpa Lawrence’s house, picked Neil up, and rushed back to Genovia as soon
as he could.

Madelynn had brought all the things Damien’s assistant had bought for Lucy.
She knew which hospital Lucy worked at. After all, she had been there to cause a scene before. She
would only have to ask around to know where Lucy’s house was.
Madelynn was already angry enough with all the baby’s clothing and nutritious products she was
carrying. Her fists were tightly clenched as she made her way to Lucy’s house. It would only take a
spark to light her fuse.
When she arrived at Lucy’s house, she saw a child that was around one or two years old.
Madelynn had heard that Lucy had a kid, but she had never believed it.
Lucy was confused to see Madelynn, and asked why the latter was there.
Madelynn dumped the things onto the floor unceremoniously. “Damien gave all these to you.”
Lucy glanced at them. There were children’s clothes and all sorts of nutritious products.
“He gave these to me?” she asked in surprise.
“How did you crawl your way onto his bed?!” Madelynn’s chest heaved as she stood there.
Lucy held her child in her arms and said with relief, “President Lawrence was very gentle.”
This made Madelynn blow up. Without hesitation, she grabbed a comb and threw it at Lucy.
She hadn’t even managed to lay a finger on Damien after so many years, but this woman had actually
given birth to his child!
How could Madelynn not be furious?
Lucy dodged the comb, but it landed on the little boy’s face and drew blood. He burst into tears
immediately.
Lucy anxiously said, “Buddy! Oh my god, are you okay? Tell Mommy you’re okay!”
Madelynn grew even more enraged at the sight of Lucy being so protective.
