Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 386

Chapter 386 You’ve Become Like This After Leaving Me? Damien clapped, unamused. “That‘s an

interesting story. Don‘t cross my bottom line, or I‘ll do what I said I would. Don‘t touch me, and don‘t

you dare touch her either. If you do, you know what‘ll happen!”

After that, he left.

Iris tightened her fists around the throw pillow, wondering what her people had done. How could they

allow Damien to discover that she was the mastermind so easily? He had ruined her

plan!

She stood before the sofa for a while, and then called a subordinate. “Tell Helen to come here!”

“Yes, ma‘am.”

Helen was her assistant from before.

When Damien got back to his office, he started packing his things.

Ray came in during this time.

“What‘s going on? Are you going on a business trip? Is it something urgent?”

“I‘m going abroad.”

“Where to?”

“Where else?” Damien asked in return, not even batting an eyelid.

Ray was surprised. “Emmeria? No way. Did the sun rise in the west today? Are you unable to control

your lower half?”

Damien shot him a reprimanding look.

“If that‘s what you think, then that‘s what it is.”

“Well then, I‘d like to know just what you‘re thinking.”

Damien didn‘t say anything.novelbin

Ray pulled out his phone. “Have you got a flight ticket already? I‘ll book you one.”

“There‘s no need. My assistant will do it.” Damien called his chauffeur and told the latter to take him to

the airport.

Ray tutted. “You can‘t even wait for a second longer!” He watched Damien walk out of the room

Damien got into the car and headed straight to the airport.

Emmeria.

At a somewhat luxurious restaurant, Chanel and Clarissa were having a meal. “Clarissa, my job hereas

a visiting scholar is done and I‘m leaving tomorrow. This meal is on me, okay? And if you ever get the

chance to, do visit me at the University of Florin,” Chanel

said.

“Sure I‘ll send you off at the airport tomorrow.” “To be honest, the repulsion Clarissa had first felt for

Chanel had completely vanished. Now, she loved hanging out with Chanel

Grandpa Lawrence used to work at the University of Florin, and Clarissa had been there before as well.

It was a beautiful place.

Chanel was the perfect embodiment of the place. She wasn‘t the type to immediately catch one‘s eye,

but as time passed, she made one feel refreshed and revitalized. “Here. Let‘s toast to our meeting and

our upcoming separation,” Chanel said. “Cheers!” “What do you plan on doing once you‘ve completed

your studies?” Clarissa was lost. She had mainly decided to come here to study because of the

humiliation she had suffered over her education level.

“I don‘t know. I guess I just didn‘t want people to make fun of me because of my education.” “You can

come and teach at the University of Florin. It‘s great to impart your knowledge to others. And since

you’re studying finance, you can get a part–time job as an independent director or something. It‘s a

good way to make money, too.” Clarissa nodded thoughtfully. Chanel had pointed out another career

path for her, and it was worth giving it some thought. They drank more, using it as a way to convey their

feelings. Clarissa happened to have a little too much to drink, so she wanted to go home and rest.

Coincidentally, she ran into Yonah, who had just gotten off work. They went upstairs together. But when

Clarissa opened the door to her room, she received the shock of her life. A tall man was standing

before her desk and flipping through her books. He was wearing a black wool coat, and at first glance,

Clarissa thought he was Mr. Black Suit. When she took a closer look, she realized it was Darnien.

“What are you doing here?!” She immediately plastered herself against the door, her ears perked up.

Her eyes darted around the room, and she couldn‘t help feeling that Mr. Black Suit and his men were

watching her.

Damien turned around to look at her.

It had been a long time since they had last seen each other. She had lost weight, and her hair was

longer She was also fairer than before.

“You‘ve become like this after leaving me?” He swept his gaze over the room.

It wasn‘t too bad, but it was no match for any of his property.
