Chapter 753

Chapter 753 Women in Love Were All Fools

Eudora answered the phone and said irritably, "Oh, why would Princess bother to call me?"

On the other end of the line, Wendy's voice stammered. "Eudora, you..."

"What? Don't you like it when people call you Princess?"

"Who told you I like that? I only want Derek to call me that way."

"Tsk, tsk... Women in love indeed were all fools." Eudora didn't want to dwell on this matter with Wendy

any longer, so she asked directly, "What's going on? Is your Derek in a meeting or on a business trip?

Otherwise, why would you think of me?"

Eudora's words hit the nail on the head.

"Hehehe, Derek is on a business trip and won't be back until tomorrow. I was bored today and thought

of asking you to watch a movie."

"Ugh!"

Eudora scoffed lightly. "You must have bought the movie tickets only to realize that he's not here, so

you thought of me."

"You... Well, fine."novelbin

Wendy looked at the movie ticket in her hand and let out a deep sigh.

At first, Eudora had intended to decline Wendy's invitation. However, upon further consideration, she

realized that she had been quite busy lately and decided it might be a good opportunity to unwind.

So she packed up and went to watch a movie with Wendy.

After the movie ended and Eudora was driving back home when she unexpectedly saw Alva standing

downstairs in her rented apartment building.

This was the first time they had met since the auction three months ago.

Eudora parked her car, got out, and frowned at Alva. "How do you know I live here?"

After three months apart, Alva had become much thinner. The arrogance and aloofness in her eyes

were gone, replaced by a more composed demeanor.

Eudora was well aware of what Alva had been through. She must have been humiliated, which

probably led to her transformation.

However, although Eudora felt that Alva was innocent of being humiliated, she didn't sympathize with

her.

With her black woolen coat, hair slightly curled, and a plaid scarf neatly wrapped around her neck, Alva

stood in front of Eudora. One hand held her bag while the other rested comfortably in her coat pocket.

She greeted Eudora with a subtle smile and said, "It's not difficult to find out where you live."

Eudora nodded and asked, "Why are you coming here?"

Alva raised her head and looked at the chilly winter sky. "Coming to see you on such a cold day, I just

want to say something to you."

Hearing her words, Eudora remained silent and just waited for her to continue.

"I heard that you agreed to host Milo's wedding, right?" Alva asked.

Eudora wasn't surprised that Alva knew about this. After all, as she had said, it was easy to find out

things about her.

After all, Kenison City wasn't big enough to cover all the secrets.

"Just say what you want to say." Eudora had little patience for Alva.

"I came here just to tell you to be extra careful at Milo's wedding tomorrow." After finishing her

sentence, Alva shrugged. "That's all."

With the last word spoken, Alva walked past Eudora in her high heels and left directly.
