Chapter 883 Got The Blank Heavenly Book (Part One)

Looking at the box on the table, Harper didn't know what to say or how to react. Forsythia wanted tosay something but stopped herself after thinking about it again. Since Rolando came to Harper'squarters, placed the box on the table and left, Harper hadn't moved at all.

"Are you going to open it, Your Highness?" Forsythia finally asked.

Harper didn't respond. She was still thinking about what happened last night, so she didn't pay anyattention to the Heavenly Book or Forsythia's question. She was still wondering whether last night wasa dream and whether Matthew was actually hurt or not.

After stealing food from somewhere in secret, Patrick sneaked back into the room. Its mouth was full ofoil as it jumped onto the table. Then, it found a comfortable position and closed its eyes to sleep whileleaning on Harper's arm.

Seeing that Patrick was back, Harper immediately withdrew her hand with so much force that thecreature fell on the table. Patrick's head hit the table so bad that it became dizzy. It jumped up trying tofight with Harper.

She reached out her hand and picked up Patrick. "Was Matthew injured?"

Patrick looked at Harper with a confused expression on its face. 'It's great that Matthew got hurt. Thatbastard always bullied me. Oh, that's such a good thing. I should congratulate him.'

Upon noticing the gloat on Patrick's face, Harper knew that it didn't know whether Matthew was injuredor not, so she immediately threw it away. Then, she went back to being in a daze.

The corners of Forsythia's mouth twitched while she thought, 'Your Highness, you're thinking wayahead. You've been pondering for a long time. Are you thinking about His Highness instead of theHeavenly Book?'

"Your Highness, are you missing His Highness? Do you want me to contact him?" Forsythia cautiouslyasked.

"Can you actually get in touch with him?" Harper asked, looking puzzled.

"The secret guards have their own way of communication, but it will be a different case if the messagecan be sent out." Forsythia was feeling helpless. She couldn't even move a single step in the ImperialPalace of the Great Jade Kingdom. What she could do now was stay with Harper and never leave herside.

Harper knew exactly what Forsythia meant. At that moment, the Harmony Palace was surrounded bynumerous guards. Even a fly couldn't get out, let alone a message. Matthew couldn't have sneaked inhere without disturbing anybody. She really must have been dreaming last night.

With these thoughts in mind, Harper sighed. She opened the box that Rolando had brought and tookout the Heavenly Book inside. Opening the book, she saw the characters on it, which were extremelyfamiliar to her. It was certainly another Heavenly Book that she hadn't seen before. To her surprise,Rolando had sent two Heavenly Books to her.

"How could there be two books? Isn't there only one Heavenly Book in Emperor Rolando's hand?"Forsythia doubtfully asked.novelbin

"The other is the Heavenly Book which belonged to the Bright Dynasty," Harper calmly said. She didn'texactly know how Rolando acquired the book, but she knew that whatever happened must have beenrelated to Matthew. The two must have made some kind of deal which made Matthew give theHeavenly Book to Rolando.

"Now, there is only the last Heavenly Book to be found. Your Highness, there are three HeavenlyBooks, but we only have two of them. It seems useless to have them," Forsythia thoughtfully said.

"Only one book to be found?" As if murmuring to herself, Harper opened the last Heavenly Book. In herhand was the first volume of the book. The Heavenly Book which belonged to Matthew was the secondvolume, while the third one was from Rolando. At that moment, only the third volume was what shehadn't read yet.

Rolando had ordered Miguel to send her some copies, which was fine because what she wanted toknow was the contents of the book. But when she skimmed through the pages, she found out that thelatter part was blank!

"It's blank!"

Forsythia was astonished as well. The latter part of the third Heavenly Book was blank. There reallywas nothing in the second half of the book. To say the least, it was weird.

"Your Highness, is there really nothing in the book, or is it a fake one?" Forsythia asked with caution. Ifthe Heavenly Book was fake, it would have been very shameless of Rolando.

Harper carefully touched the blank pages and didn't find anything significant. There wasn't a scratch ora fold or anything. But, the latter part of the book should definitely not be blank. There should besomething on it. Perhaps, Harper needed a special way for the book to show the contents. "This is areal one. The part in the end is not blank. The contents are just hidden."

"Will the contents appear if we dip it in the water?" Forsythia handed a cup of tea to Harper, urging herto try it. With a smile, Harper shook her head.

"Rolando must have tried all of the common methods. So definitely, an ordinary way won't make thecharacters show up." Why were the contents in the book hidden? Was it because the informationrecorded on it was extremely confidential?

Then, Patrick started pestering Harper. She curled a finger and flicked it into the air. The creature didn'twant to let her go so it continued to pounce on her. But Harper used her internal force every time itwould do so. Although she wouldn't hurt it, she could still easily throw it out.

Patrick knew it was not a match for Harper, so it directly grabbed the Heavenly Book on the table andran away. Harper did not get upset with that. She let Patrick grab and play with the Heavenly Book. When she saw that Patrick threw the book here and there as a toy, Forsythia was scared and worriedthat the Heavenly Book would be damaged. There were only three of those in the world. If anythingwere to happen to the book, the contents on it would cease to exist.
