Chapter 472

Chapter 472

Xavier was puffing on a cigarette, his face looking handsome and cold. “Since he thinks I’m dead, let it

be. He has a wife and daughter; it doesn’t matter if I go back

or not!”

Estelle wasn’t good at comforting others, so she just said, “As long as you’re happy!”

Xavier glanced at her. “What about you, are you happy with Jonathan?”

Estelle didn’t hesitate to nod. “Yeah, I’m happy.”

“Well, as long as everyone’s happy!” Xavier laughed and patted her shoulder. “Let’s go eat!”

Estelle looked up at him and smiled. “Do you still hate me?”

Xavier clenched his teeth and let out a sigh. “Yesterday, when I went downstairs to buy cigarettes, I

saw a father in the elevator with his daughter. She was misbehaving, and he scolded her, but as soon

as the girl started crying, he panicked and rushed to comfort her!”

Estelle raised an eyebrow, not quite understanding his point.

Xavier chuckled. “Don’t you get it? I’ve known you since you were young, and I’ve watched you grow

up. I’ve even taught you how to shoot. I’m like your older brother! How could I ever hate you or want to

hurt or scold you? If I make you cry or feel wronged, it hurts me too!”

Estelle frowned, feeling a mix of emotions. She glanced at him and couldn’t help but ask, “Have you

been reading some novels lately?”

Xavier nodded seriously, I’ve read a few of the ones in the bookcase; they’re not bad. I plan to buy

more and make a bookshelf in my room. It’ll make me look

educated!”

Estelle was speechless

She didn’t want to say anything more. Let’s just go eat!

As the two walked towards the dining room, Estelle said, “Give me a heads–up when you open the

business, and I’ll help you celebrate.”

Xavier replied, “No need for that. Just bring a few of your friends and have a meal here!”

“Have you thought of a name for the restaurant?”

“Yeah, Big Arms Western Restaurant.”

Estelle turned her head in astonishment, “Don’t you think that’s a bit inappropriate?”

“Why not? Zachary and the others think it’s great!”

Estelle looked at him with mixed feelings, “Well, as long as you guys are happy!”

The Big Arms Moving Company disappeared from the dock’s industrial park and didn’t reappear

elsewhere. Josiah won but felt a bit bored since he suddenly lost a

competitor.

More importantly, Xavier hadn’t been seen since he was taken away by a mysterious person that night.

Josiah personally went to look for him several times but never saw Xavier or the mysterious person

again. It was such a pity!

At noon, his mom called and asked him to come home for a bit.

Josiah told Brooks and drove home.

A Mercedes was parked at the entrance of the villa. He wore sunglasses and looked at it before driving

in.

As he entered, a servant handed him his shoes, “Young Master is back!”

Then she shouted towards the living room, “Sir, madam, Young Master Josiah is back!” novelbin

Josiah took off his sunglasses and walked into the living room, calling out, “Mom, what’s going on?”

Mrs. James stood up and warmly greeted him. She made a playful expression at Josiah and smiled,

saying, “Your Auntie Yolanda brought Amiee over for a visit. Come on!”

Josiah walked through the hallway, curious to see who the guests were. As he entered the living room,

he spotted a woman and a girl with short hair. Surprisingly, he didn’t recognize either of them!
