Chapter 471

Chapter 471

Jason asked, “There’re fewer classes at school now, aren’t you planning to come to the design

studio?” novelbin

Estelle said, “I’m thinking about it!”

Jason laughed, “The design studio is looking to hire two design assistant. If you want to know what it’s

like to start from scratch, why not give it a try, just treat it as an internship before graduation!”

Estelle raised her eyebrows, “That’s not a bad idea!”

“Come by in the next couple of days then, I’ll be around, and I’ll personally interview you!”

Estelle laughed, “What an honor for me to be a little assistant!”

Jason said, “If you can come, it’s me who should feel honored!”

They chatted for a bit before Estelle agreed to come by Jason’s place for the “interview” the next

afternoon.

After hanging up the phone, Estelle’s smile was full of meaning, thinking that being an assistant at her

own studio should be a bit interesting!

As soon as she put down her phone, Xavier called her over for dinner.

Estelle stretched lazily, dropped her pen, and went over to Xavier’s place.

It wasn’t far between the two buildings, and she soon arrived. When Estelle entered, Xavier was sitting

on the balcony sunbathing. He hadn’t shaved, and even the noon sun couldn’t soften his rugged

features.

Seeing Estelle, Xavier got up to get her some water. His walking was much better now.

“I’m moving out tomorrow, just letting you know.” Xavier handed her the water and casually mentioned.

Estelle unscrewed the water and looked at him, “Where are you moving to, your Big Arms Moving

Company?”

Xavier leaned lazily on the couch, gave her a glance and said, “That Josiah James has been opposing

my people, trying to drive me out of the docks. I originally wanted to meet him after my injury healed,

but he’s Jonathan Lamont’s guy, so never mind!”

Estelle raised an eyebrow in surprise. “What do you mean, giving up on your moving company? What

about Zachary and the others?”

Xavier replied, his tone casual, “They’ve been with me for many years, and I feel responsible for them.

That’s why I’ve made the decision to open a restaurant.”

The mention of a restaurant caught Estelle off guard. “A restaurant?”

The transition from running Big Arms Moving Company to opening a restaurant seemed like a

significant leap in the industry.

Xavier remained composed. “Yes, I’ve been considering it for while now, although I never mentioned it

to you. I’ve already found a location for the restaurant.” Estelle still felt that it was somewhat awkward,

“Are you going to let Zachary and the others be waiters?”

“No,” Xavier said. “Zachary is a chef.”

Estelle went speechless.

It was even more ridiculous than she imagined!

Xavier laughed, “Surprised? Didn’t you think he looked like a chef, right? Actually, he used to be a chef.

A few years ago, he worked late one night and came home to find his girlfriend sleeping with another

man. He castrated the guy, then went to jail!”

“After he got out, his girlfriend was gone, his job was lost, and his mother had died of illness while he

was in jail. He was feeling completely hopeless and was about to jump into the sea when I saved him.

He’s been with me ever since.”

Estelle suddenly understood.

Xavier continued, “I’ve already bought the restaurant and it’s being renovated. It’ll be open for business

in about ten days or so. The location of the restaurant is not bad, it’s near Movie Center. I’ve rented all

three floors; the first and second floors are for business, and the third floor is for housing. There’s

enough room for all of us!”

He finished with a laugh, “Besides, you love spicy food, now you can come over and eat whenever.”

Estelle took a sip of water and asked, “Do you plan to always hang out with Zachary and the others,

never going back home to see your dad?”
