Chapter271 Not insightful enough
Shocked, Humphrey goggled at how Connor was supporting Maximilian and asking everybody to
apologize to him. This was way beyond Humphrey’s imagination.
Zakariya and other rich guys all looked at Leon, who they were trying to flaunt, because their behaviors
depended on Leon’s attitudes.
Leon was in a trance. He looked at Connor, then at Maximilian, confused at the relationship between
them.
Supposedly, those who got respected by Connor should be at least someone rich and powerful, or their
offspring.
However, Maximilian had no such vibe at all, as he wore shabby clothing, and was lack of guards.
These all proved that Maximilian was just a normal person, a very normal one!
“Conner, what do you say?” asked Leon.
Frankie looked upset, because it was absolutely impossible for him to apologize to Maximilian.
This was at Geekoo, which was his place. It was impossible for him to say sorry to a normal person in
his own place.
Though Connor asked him to do it, Frankie was no longer his man, but someone who could almost
match him.
“Connor, I respect you as my brother, but it is a bit too much that you want me to apologize to him.”
Frankie stared at Connor, thinking that this might be his trick on him.
Connor’s face immediately got gloomy, “Frankie, I am helping you by asking you to apologize. As long
as you do it now, the old stories would stay in the past. Otherwise, if you get Maximilian upset, you may

Wyatt got stunned. Different from the impulsive Frankie, he found Connor’s words meaningful.
“Bad fruits? Him? I have never tasted any bad fruits. How would I be scared of this loser? Even if you
really want me to apologize, at least you should tell me his identity.”
Frankie was not compromising, since he did not think Maximilian would have any powerful background.
Seeing how confident Frankie was, Leon got more assured too, “Connor, I respect you as a
predecessor. However, even if you want me to die, you should let us know the situation well. Tell us
who he is, so we can willingly apologize to him.”
Others like Zakariya also started to follow with Leon’s suggestion.
“Connor, this is Geekoo, the area of Frankie. Please do not get too far on this business. We respect
you, but you should not ask too much from us.”
“Is this poor man an actor of yours, Connor? I think your actor is too lame, failing to make us convinced
to apologize.”
“We can apologize to you, Connor, but we do not apologize to such a nobody.”
Humphrey had a light smile on the corner of his mouth, amazed at how tough these people were
acting. They dared to talk to Conner like that. He could not wait to see how embarrassing it would be
for Maximilian.
Wyatt looked at Maximilian and Connor, seeing Maximilian looked calm as usual, he nodded his head
unconsciously.
Those who did not even get stunned by this kind of occasions were either fools, or those with
backgrounds who did not even understand the situation.
In addition to Connor’s attitude towards Maximilian, Wyatt could be assured that Maximilian was not a
nobody.
“Frankie, you need to think about this well. This is the last chance I would give you. If Mr. Maximilian
got upset, it would not be as simple as an apology.” said Connor coldly.
All those behind Frankie glared at Connor, as if as they would punch him as long as Frankie ordered
them to.
Wyatt said with a smile, “Frankie, Leon, you are just young kids. Are you sure you want to disobey the
old? If you do not apologize to Maximilian, I’m afraid I would support Connor too.”
After hearing that, Frankie and Leon’s expressions changed immediately.
If it were only Connor who was suppressing him, Frankie dared to go against him; but if Wyatt also
supported Connor, the situation would be very different.
Wyatt was the richest person in Geekoo. And most importantly, he did antiques businesses, so he
normally interacted with many important people in the province and built a strong social connection.
Though Wyatt acted humble all the time, he was actually counted as an invisible master whose anger
could shake the whole Geekoo city.
“Uncle Wyatt. Are you serious?” Frankie said, greeting his teeth.
Wyatt nodded lightly, “I never go back on my words.”
“Why are you supporting this loser too? He is just a nobody, a son-in-law of a third-class family in H
city.”
Frankie said a lot, failing to figure out what Wyatt was doing this for.
Wyatt said lightly, “That’s because you are brainless. Connor already made it clear, but you failed to
understand his words. It looks like you kids in this city are all slow.”
Humiliated by Wyatt, Frankie and the others’ faces looked awful.
Leon started to feel backing up, thinking that he could compromise first, then humiliate Maximilian at
last during the auction of the raw gemstone. After they won it, Conner and Wyatt could not say any
more about it.
If they kept acting tough now, Frankie would not be able to take it easy facing the cooperation of the
two masters from both H city and Geekoo.
Leon touched Frankie slightly with his elbow, then hinted at him with his eyes.
Frankie greeted teeth, with his anger stuffed in the heart.
“Connor, if you do ask me apologize to him, I will do it because of our past relationship, but after this,
we will have no tie anymore.”
Wyatt disdainfully looked at Frankie and shook his head, thinking that Frankie was definitely a fool.
Even when things got to this point, he still could not get a hint of the situation.
“Sure. We do not know each other anymore in the future. Now, get on your knees, and apologize to Mr.
Maximilian.” Connor said coldly.
“On knees? Are you kidding me? Why are we kneeling in front of this poor loser? Frankie, Leon, we
can’t do it!” Zakariya yelled angrily.
Frankie and Leon’s facial expressions all turned horrible.
