Maximilian could also understand what Connor was worried about—the leader of the Sakura Kingdom
would probably initiate another ambush once again. And Maximilian had also expected so.

guards surrounding your villa in case those assassins come for trouble.”
Hearing that, Connor said, “I have planned for this already. But we are still under exposure while they
could act secretly.”

the leader in an overwhelming way. Otherwise, he would still come for revenge.

“Let me go outside.” Maximilian said casually.

All of them were wearing dark camouflage with a mask on their faces. No one could saw their faces

They were all holding tantos facing Maximilian while ready for combat.
Their camouflage suit seemed to be quite familiar to Maximilian. He also heard that there were a kind
of assassin called ninja in the Sakura Kingdom, who he only saw in movies or animation. It was his first
time to see ninja in the flesh.
“Oh, you guys are ninjas?” Maximilian said casually.

Those ninjas kept wielding their tantos but they still failed to hurt him a bit.
Maximilian then took the chance to grab one of the tantos and then hacked one of them with it. Soon
one of the ninjas was knocked down on the ground.
When seeing that, the rest of them were all stunned. They paused and didn’t dare to attack again.
Suddenly, one of them took out his shuriken to initiate a sneak attack against him.
Maximilian hurried to dodge out of instinct but the shuriken hit another ninja by accident.
The ninja got injured soon turned ghastly pale as the shuriken was covered with poison. Soon, blood
came out of his mouth and he lay on the ground, unmoved.
