Chapter 1979: Hard To Separate

Chapter 1979: Hard to Separate

"I'm not going out? How am I going to see my little brothers?" Joyce couldn't believe it.

"You can see your brothers, but you must have someone accompany you and go back after seeingthem," Anderson said seriously.

Just then, Luther walked in and heard Anderson's words, nodding in satisfaction.

"Andres is thoughtful. He knows to help dad take care of mom together." Joyce was speechless.

Even Alisha couldn't help but stick out her tongue at her brother.

"It must be you who taught him," Joyce glared at Luther, showing discontent.

"How could it be?" Luther immediately denied, "Andres and I just had the same idea."

At this point, Anderson took away the fruit platter. "Alright, mom, you should lie down more, restquickly. Don't look at your phone too much, it's not good for your eyes."

Then, Anderson took Alisha away. "Don't stay here. It will affect mom's rest. I'll accompany you toplay now."

"Oh." Alisha was reluctantly dragged away by Anderson.

After the two children left, Joyce stared at Luther wordlessly, "It must be you, influencing Andres. When did I say I would run around everywhere? You don't have to guard me like this. At most, I willhandle some official business. What else can I do? Furthermore, look, I've already recovered. It'stoo much to not let me work for a month."

Luther lifted Joyce, who had already stood up, and said, "Knowing you, you must not rest properly.I've already discussed with your mom. Every night, I'll take you all, including Andres and Alisha, tosee the children together. Apart from that, you must rest. Don't argue with me, this time I won't listento you."

Joyce wanted to show her dissatisfaction, but seeing Luther's serious expression, she thought, forget it, don't argue with him. Rest for a week first, maybe ten days. Then, when the time comes, I'llnegotiate with him again, don't make him so strict with her.

"Alright, I'll listen to you." Joyce reached out and hugged his neck, "I don't want to worry youanymore. Whatever you say is what I'll do."

She gave in, after all, Luther's poison had just been lifted, and she had fortunately given birth to thechild safely. The whole family finally had happy and harmonious days.

Luther kissed her forehead, "Um, very obedient."

Joyce kissed him back.

After a while of sweetness, Luther pulled away from her lips, slightly out of breath, "I'll carry you tosoak in the hot springs."

Joyce nodded, "But, I just gave birth, there is still blood below. Is it okay?"

"Don't worry, I consulted the doctor specifically for you. The bathwater I prepared for you has beenprofessionally treated, distilled pure water, and the pool has been rigorously disinfected. It containsmedicine prescribed by the doctor, which helps your body recover, contracts the uterus, andprevents infections. It's safe and beneficial." Luther explained, "When you were talking to Juanitajust now, I went to prepare the medicated bath. I understand you must be very uncomfortable thesedays."

Joyce nodded vigorously, "That's great, I feel so uncomfortable all over."

Luther smiled and carried her to the top floor.

The hot spring bath was ready, with mist rising from the entire large semi-enclosed hot spring pool.It looked like a fairyland.

Luther helped Joyce undress and carried her into the hot spring pool.

Once Joyce entered the water, warmth enveloped her entire body, and comfort immediately spread, every pore opening up, it was simply too enjoyable. She completely submerged herself in the water, then resurfaced, taking a deep breath.

Luther watched her on the side, "Unfortunately, I can't bathe with you, the water in the pool isspecially prepared for you. I asked the doctor, you can soak in the medicated bath twice a day, morning and evening. I will prepare it for you in advance."

Joyce turned to look at him, "Okay."

She leaned on the edge of the hot spring pool, tilting her head to look at Luther's profile. He hadrecently slimmed down a bit, his features now more distinct and handsome, she couldn't help but bemesmerized.

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

Luther asked with a smile.

"Feast for the eyes," Joyce suddenly said.

Luther's expression froze for a moment, slightly embarrassed.

Joyce chuckled, "Just teasing you. Aren't you going out today?"

"After lunch, I'll go. Mom is going to the group with me." Luther pinched Joyce's cheek and she wasso cute, really likable.

"Oh, I remember you saying before. You arranged a reception room at the group, and you're goingto interview a maternity nurse together. When Wilson and Cullen come back, they can take over thecare." Joyce said knowingly, "I got it, you go busy. I also want to rest in the afternoon."

Luther asked again, "Do you want to review the nurse's information? I'll send it to you in theafternoon."

"No need, you review and do the background check. What do I have to worry about?" Joycegrabbed Luther's wrist, "You've lost weight, I'll tell mom later to cook something delicious for you.Take good care of yourself."

"Touched?" Luther teased again.

"Yeah, really touched." Joyce expressed her emotions without reservation, looking at himaffectionately.

Luther didn't know how to respond, with a twinkle in his dark eyes.

Joyce interrupted him, "I'm fine, I don't want to soak for too long. I feel dizzy. Carry me out."

"Okay." Luther bent over, carried Joyce out of the hot spring pool, and wrapped her in a large towel, before taking her into his arms.

He sat on the bench, carefully drying her hair with another towel, then from top to bottom, he wipedher body clean, and finally, he carefully helped her dress.

"I'll blow dry your hair for you." Luther stood up and brought the hairdryer.

Joyce nodded.

As the hairdryer started, the hot air blew across her face, warming her heart as well.

She looked at herself in the mirror, her whole body exuding a faint rosy hue, happiness overflowingon her face. And him, standing behind her, taking care of her meticulously, even blowing her hairand dressing her. To have such a dominating and caring man, she felt very fortunate.

After drying Joyce's hair, Luther saw her distracted and asked, "What's wrong? What are youthinking about?"

Joyce shook her head, turned around, and nestled in his arms, "Nothing, just thinking about you."

Luther chuckled softly, "I'm right here, aren't I?"novelbin

Then, he picked her up, "It's time for lunch, I'll carry you downstairs."

Joyce whispered, "Wait, just a few more minutes."

Luther, puzzled, raised an eyebrow, only questioning with his eyes.

Unexpectedly, Joyce took the initiative to kiss his lips.

Luther was stunned at first, then overjoyed in his heart, constantly returning her kiss, the two ofthem embraced and kissed intimately in the hot spring room, reluctant to part, not letting go of eachother for a long time.
