Cedrick had no choice but to get up and walk toward the nurse.
The nurse introduced the babies to him, “Mr. Jenson, this is the older brother, and this one is the
younger sister.”
Cedrick glanced at them and furrowed his brows in disbelief. “Are these really Gwenny’s and my
babies?”
“Of course. You were also in the delivery room. Do you think we switched the babies?”
A few nurses chuckled.
However, Cedrick had a solemn expression.
Gwenny and I have good looks. Why are the babies so ugly? Their skin is red and wrinkled. They aren’t

“Hubby, how are they? Are they cute?”

Cedrick tried to change the topic. “There’s no problem. You don’t have to worry about anything for now.
Rest well. We will be transferred to a regular ward later.”
The more Cedrick was like this, the more suspicious Gwendolyn was. “Where are the babies? Bring
them over for me to see.”
“Do you really want to see them?” he asked, uncertain.
Gwendolyn nodded firmly as the uneasiness within her grew more intense. “Quick!”
Cedrick had no choice but to approach the nurse again and carry over the two babies.
When he walked over to Gwendolyn, he reminded her cautiously, “Gwenny, be prepared. They might
look different from what you expect.”
“Stop beating around the bush.” She was confused.
Cedrick bent down and placed the two babies beside her.
Gwendolyn took a glance and saw two adorable babies.
“They are so cute! Are you playing around with me and trying to give me a surprise, Ceddy?”
She was excited. Tears streamed down her face, and she instantly held so much love for her babies.
She felt the arduous ten months of pregnancy had been worth it to bring these two adorable babies into
the world. It was truly an achievement.
“Ceddy, look. Their facial features resemble ours. They are our babies.”
Cedrick followed her gaze and looked at their babies again.
No matter what, they were his babies. The more he looked at them, the more pleasant-looking they
were to him.
He leaned down and kissed Gwendolyn’s sweaty forehead. He looked at her tenderly and uttered,
“Thank you for giving birth to two adorable babies, Gwenny.”
The two gazed at each other with eyes filled with love.
The delivery was successful. After resting for a moment, Gwendolyn was transferred to a regular ward.
Kieran, Treyton, and the others ran to her. In an instant, the spacious VIP ward became crowded.
They gathered around the two babies, discussing passionately.
Nico stated, “The baby boy really looks a bit like Cedrick.”
Summer giggled. “I heard the baby often kicked Gwendolyn during the later stage of her pregnancy. It
must be the baby boy. He looks as mischievous as Mr. Jenson when he was a child.”
Laughter resonated in the ward.
Cedrick sat beside Gwendolyn. He didn’t say anything, as though he didn’t hear them. He focused on
feeding Gwendolyn her nutritious oatmeal.
Gwendolyn glanced at the group of people from afar. She felt like they were observing an animal at the
zoo.
They continued their lively discussion.
It wasn’t until Kieran, who had been silent the entire time, asked in a deep voice, “Kiddo, have you guys
decided on the names for your babies?”
Gwendolyn was slightly stunned. She had forgotten about it.
She turned to look at Cedrick. “Hubby, you can decide on their names.”
Cedrick contemplated for a moment and responded in a solemn tone, “I plan to name the baby girl,
Zendaya, to express gratitude to Gwendolyn for bringing her into this world. For the baby boy, I’ll name
him Benedict to represent a blessing from Gwenny.”
Gwendolyn listened to him quietly. She knew she had made the right decision to give birth to these
babies.
Nico said, “Zendaya Jenson and Benedict Jenson. They are wonderful names with great meaning!”
“Zendy, Benny. These are the names your dad gave you,” Summer stated excitedly.
Soon, the ward was filled with everyone saying the babies’ names.
Gwendolyn smiled helplessly at Cedrick. She felt that this group of people was childish.
Knock! Knock!
Someone knocked on the door.
Elven entered, looking slightly awkward. She whispered, “Ms. Harris, Mr. Asher and his wife are here.
Should I let them in?”
Although he spoke softly, the room instantly fell silent, and the atmosphere became tense.
Everyone turned to look at Gwendolyn, waiting for her to make the decision.

“There are already many people in the ward. The babies are still young, and having too many people
around them might frighten them. You should let them go back for now.”
