Chapter 553

Little Gary was shocked. Not only Little Gary, but Ernest was also a little surprised. His mouth gaped

open as he looked at his mother. His big eyes blinked repeatedly as if he was frightened by his

mother's suggestion.

Heinz was also taken aback. He didn't expect Grace to say that at all.

Grace glanced at her children apologetically. She had always felt really apologetic towards them.

"Here's the thing." She explained, "Both of you are in kindergarten now, and both your performances

are very good. Besides, you are both quick learners so you should be able to catch up with your

lessons in a few days."

"Mommy, are you asking us to go on a trip with you?" Little Gary asked in disbelief.

Grace saw the excitement in his eyes and nodded, "Firstly, well be sending great-grandma's ashes to

Southland. Secondly, we can go on a family trip. I haven't been able to accompany the both of you fornovelbin

some time now. This week, it will be a special trip for us since our reunion."

Heinz's eyes turned a few shades darker.

He glanced at Grace, and then at his children.

Little Gary was obviously very excited as his eyes were filled with excitement.

It was the same for Ernest.

In fact, the two little ones had not gone on a trip before.

It was a good opportunity.

Of course, Heinz was willing to go on a family trip.

"Forget it," Little Gary refused suddenly.

Grace was flustered and frowned. "Little Gary, what's wrong?"

She clearly saw that he was really excited about the trip and wanted to go. Why did he decide to refuse

out of a sudden?

"You are going there to bury great-grandma's ashes. If we went, it might be inconvenient for you."

Grace was taken aback and she shook her head. "What are you talking about? What inconvenience

would you cause by going with us?"

"Come on, don't be so melodramatic." Heinz glanced at Grace and said, "He wants to go, but he's

being melodramatic."

Little Gary's face flushed red. He looked at Heinz and his eyebrows were knitted tightly. "You are the

one being melodramatic."

"I've always been melodramatic. You inherited my genes, thus you are naturally melodramatic as well,"

Heinz admitted openly. "You don't have to feel embarrassed."

Little Gary raised his eyebrows and he didn't know what to say.

Heinz made eye contact with him calmly as he said, "You are going on a trip with your parents and your

own brother. What are you embarrassed about?" "I'm afraid that Mommy would be too tired." Little Gary

paused for a while before he continued, "I don't want to be a burden."

Grace's heart skipped a beat. Gary was too mature for his age.

She couldn't bear to let her children suffer.

"You won't be a burden." Heinz said, "If you go, your Mommy will have you by her side. She will feel

more assured. Anyway, we'll also be bringing more bodyguards. As long as the both of you are aware

of your surroundings, then we'll all be fine."

"Then, can I say that..." Ernest looked at his parents and asked shyly, "Can I say that I want to go?"

"Of course you can." Grace nodded immediately. "I want to bring you there."

Heinz nodded as well. "Good job, Ernest."

Then, everyone turned their eyes to Little Gary and waited for his answer.

A complicated expression flashed across his face before he said, "Alright, then I'll go too."

Heinz walked over and took him into his arms. "You did the right thing, kid. Stop being embarrassed.

Aren't you a man?"

"No." Little Gary answered lightly, "I am still a boy. You are a man."

Heinz was flustered and chuckled. He was about to say something, but Little Gary's words left him

speechless.

"However, it is not true that every father is a true man. Some men are just pretty faces, and they are

not who they seem to be. Some are just good-for-nothings."

"Are you saying that I'm just a pretty face?" Heinz retorted.

Little Gary shrugged. "Didn't you know?"

Heinz was lost for words.

Ernest placed a hand over his mouth and giggled as if he had heard the funniest joke ever.

Grace tugged Ernest gently and held him in her arms, "Ernest, let's go pack our luggage, okay?"

"Okay, Mommy." Ernest immediately nodded excitedly and stood up with Grace.

They left Little Gary and Heinz, the pair of father and son together.

Little Gary frowned while Ernest and Grace left. His little brows were tightly knitted together.

Heinz glanced at him calmly and said, "Look, you always talk to me impolitely. Your Mommy is starting

to have opinions on that."

Little Gary frowned and looked at Heinz coldly. He did not utter a word.

Heinz was baffled by his looks.

Little Gary then spoke, "Look at yourself. You look like a villain who has just won a fight. What is there

for you to gloat about?"

Heinz was really speechless. "Am I gloating? I'm just reminding you."

"Do I need you to remind me?" Little Gary asked Heinz.

Heinz parted his lips but was at a loss of words for his son.

Little Gary broke free from his arms and glared at him coldly. "Aren't you treating me like this so that I

would acknowledge you as my Dad earlier?"

Heinz was a little embarrassed.

Well, he admitted that he was very ashamed.

However, he wasn't in a rush. He felt that this matter would be solved eventually.

"Kid, do whatever you want." Heinz was also an expert when it came to negotiations. He knew

everything that ran through a five-year-old's mind. "If you have the guts, you don't have to address me

as Dad. Ernest calls me Dad anyways. After two years, when your Mommy's health gets better, well

bear two more."

Little Gary's eyebrows twisted into a knot. "Bear two more children?"

Heinz admitted openly, "Yes, maybe your Mommy wants to give birth to many children."

At the thought of bearing two more children, his heart felt warm.

He felt happy at the thought of having a family of six.

Little Gary still frowned as he looked at Heinz, and his gaze became sharper.

On the other hand, Heinz looked at him calmly.

He knew that the calmer he was, the more anxious Little Gary would get.

Sure enough, Little Gary became anxious.

He scolded in a low voice, "Do you think my Mommy is a pig? She has already given birth to two

babies. Why are you so greedy? You already have two children, yet you still want two more."

"Mommy and I didn't even have a proper plan when we bore the two of you," Heinz explained.

"What you are trying to say is that Ernest and I are the results of your rush and lust, and not the result

of love." Little Gary snorted, "Don't think that I don't know what your filthy thoughts are."

Heinz gritted his teeth. "Looks like you know a lot."

"I do know a lot. Did you think that I know nothing about s*x?" Little Gary replied coldly.

Heinz sighed again. Sometimes, it was painful to have a son who had matured so fast.

He looked at Little Gary and said, "Kid, you have to know where to draw the line. Don't always behave

like you are the best."

Little Gary narrowed his eyes and said softly, "Old man, I don't think you'd be able to bear daughters in

the next two years. You are strong on the outside but weak on the inside."

Heinz clicked his tongue. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm saying that you are of no use." Little Gary stuck out his tongue. He was happy when he noticed

that Heinz's face looked displeased instantly.
