Chapter 490

As their eyes met, Grace and Simon looked at each other. Neither of them wanted to continue

speaking.

Grace's reaction made it clear that what Simon had guessed was true.

Simon was a little hurt when he saw her like this. He looked at her incredulously and asked, "Do you

really think that way?"

"Is it important?" asked Grace coldly.

Hurt flashed across Simon's eyes. With a dim mocking smile, he said, "Of course it's not important to

you, but it's important to me. Grace, it was not my fault at that time. I just don't know why it turned out

like that. I can't forget you now. I deserve it, but if you don't believe me, this is an insult to my dignity."

"Do you have any dignity?" Grace asked again.

Simon was stunned for a moment. He looked at Grace with disbelief.

She questioned him with the sharpest words several times to hurt him. Did he really have no dignity in

her heart?

"Then why did you come to me?" Simon's tone sounded like he was going all out. "If you think I don't

have any dignity anymore, why are you still coming to me?"

"You think I came to you willingly?" Grace said bluntly, "If it wasn't for the child I lost, do you think I'd be

happy to come here?"

She didn't come back to this place at all after she left. Maybe in her subconscious mind, she was

rejecting this place.

She just didn't expect there to be some doubts about her child.

She'd come here again to investigate the truth for her child.

Simon forced a smile, "Haha, you're not willing to come, but you're still here. You look down on me, but

you're still here. Grace, you are really contradicting yourself.”

For some reason, Grace felt bitterness, as if she had swallowed a fly. It was extremely disgusting.

"Whatever," Grace said coldly. "Simon, I still have many doubts in my mind. I will find the truth. No

matter what price I have to pay, I will find out."

Simon's body stiffened.

At that moment, the screaming from upstairs became even louder. "Simon, don't you think you can get

Grace again! If she knows what you have done, she will definitely despise you!"

Grace's heart skipped a beat and a hint of wariness appeared in her eyes. She looked at Simon with a

sharp glint in her eyes.

"What does she mean?"

"She's just spouting nonsense." A look of panic flashed across Simon's eyes. He tried his best to calm

himself down. "She's gone mad now. What she says cannot be trusted."

"Then why are you panicking?" Grace raised her eyebrows.

"Me!" Simon was stunned and denied his reaction immediately, "I'm not panicking, though?"

"It's really obvious." Grace couldn't care about him anymore and ran straight into the house.

Simon followed closely behind. He wanted to stop her, "Grace! If you go in, she'll hurt you."

"I have you, don't I?" Grace sneered and said in a light tone, "Won't you stop Marry from hurting

others?"

Her tone of voice was so cold that it was seeping into his bones.

Simon followed her closely, but he couldn't stop her from entering the door.

Outside, Alex was becoming a little anxious. He stood at the gate, thinking that if Miss Smith did not

come out, he would definitely break-in.

Who would care?

As soon as Grace entered the house, she found that the entire Smith family house had changed, and it

was no longer the same as it used to be.

Marry had changed all the furniture in the house, including the sofa and decorations.

In the house, the servants were not the same as before, the decorations were different, and the

furniture was brand-new. There was no trace of the past.

She had no time to care about it as she ran upstairs.

When she arrived at Marry's room on the second floor, she saw two men standing at the door. When

they saw Grace, they were all stunned.

The two men looked at Simon, who was standing behind her.

They greeted him respectfully, "Mr. Brown."

"Open the door," Grace said in a low voice.

Marry, who was inside, heard Grace's voice and stopped yelling in an instant.

The next second, she suddenly asked, "Is it Grace? Grace, is it you?"

"It's me." Grace said harshly, "Open the door. I want to ask her something."novelbin

"Finally, you're here!" Marry burst out laughing, which was even more unpleasant than the devil's

laughter.

Grace frowned when she heard Marry.

The two men at the door didn't move. They looked at Simon, hoping to get instructions from him.

Grace turned to Simon and said, "Open the door."

"She'll hurt you," said Simon.

"You are here and they are as well. If she hurts me, it's because you let her do it on purpose," Grace

said in a low voice.

She was suppressing Simon. Otherwise, she would not have been able to provoke Marry to say those

words just now.

"Okay, open the door," Simon finally relented. "All of you, be aware. Look at Marry and prevent her from

hurting others."

"Yes!" The two men opened the door with a pair of keys.

As soon as the door was opened, she saw Marry standing at the door. Her face was twisted, and her

lips were painted with a fiery red color.

She squinted at the door until she saw Grace. At that moment, she chuckled. "Grace, it's really you.

You really came."

"You just said that Simon had done something. If I knew, I would hate him to death." Grace looked at

Marry with mixed emotions in her heart. She wanted to know in a hurry, "Tell me, what is it?"

Marry glanced at Simon subconsciously.

Simon's face darkened, and the hostility in his eyes was terrifying.

He looked at Marry with a warning look in his eyes. The ferocity in his eyes made her tremble in fear.

When Marry's eyes met with his, she was so shocked that she took a step back.

However, in an instant, Marry smiled. She looked at Simon and said word by word, "Are you also

afraid?"

Simon's voice was colder than ice. "What am I afraid of? What have I done? You'd better tell Grace

about it."

"If I tell her, I'm afraid she will despise you," Marry snapped.

"It would be better if she hated me. You'd better make it clear, otherwise, you'll spend the rest of your

life in the psychiatric hospital," warned Simon.

"You're threatening me." Marry was stunned for a moment and there was still fear in her eyes.

However, she was ready to risk everything.

She didn't want to give up. She looked at Simon and then Grace.

They stood by the door. One of them was tall and the other was slim. They stood together like a perfect

couple.

They were meant to be a couple. She was the one who was redundant.

They were here to be an eyesore. They were here to make things even more difficult for her.

Marry gritted her teeth, "Simon, don't try to fool me with the appearance of a gentleman. You don't

deserve it. Even if you threaten me, you can't stop me."

"Then make it clear." Simon satirized coldly, "Make it clear. Marry, if you try to hide anything, I will take

care of you before Grace can say anything."
