Chapter 433

"How are you going to do it by yourself?" asked Grace in disbelief.

"By force, of course," Heinz said shamelessly. "If you won't cooperate, I can only do it by myself. Don't

worry, I'll try to be gentle."

"I'm not kidding. I'm really tired," protested Grace.

"I'm not kidding either. You can sleep," he replied. If Heinz did not do it, he would be pent up with

discomfort.

He lowered his eyes and looked at her delicate facial features. Although she was barefaced, she was

so beautiful. Her long hair was strewn over the pillow, pure and flawless, emitting a faint fragrance.

It was so natural.

When she saw him staring at her, she was very embarrassed and her big eyes flickered. She looked

very beautiful.

"I'm really tired," Grace said in a low voice. "I really have work to do tomorrow. I'll be busy for the next

three days."

Heinz looked down at her, and there was a surge of emotions in his eyes.

She was very tired, and he had to be understanding.

He couldn't be too selfish.

"Alright," he said, nodding sadly. "I'll let you off today."

She smiled and said, "I thought you would ignore my feelings."

Heinz looked at her with a smile in his eyes. "Is it because I used to be hostile? Is that why you don't

have confidence in me?"

After thinking for a while, she stared at him and nodded honestly.

"I knew you would think of me this way."

"I apologize," she said with a smile. "I find that you are actually a very good person."

Heinz was stunned. "How sure are you?"

"Pretty sure," Grace nodded. "You're very generous to Officer Charm. You treat your friend's parents

and other elders very well. You're a filial son. You've really proved many of my assumptions about you

wrong. I admit that I was too narrow-minded in the past."

She didn't know much about Heinz before, but after getting to know him, she felt that he was a really

nice person.

Heinz looked at her with a flash of apology and guilt in his eyes. He avoided her eyes and said, "Grace.

Maybe I'm not as good as you think. You really should not think too highly of me."

Grace was stunned for a moment, but she did not speak. She just looked at him, and his eyes were

warm and gentle, shining.

He was talking about Jodie's parents.

Needless to say, Grace understood what Heinz was thinking.

"I am very sorry, Grace. The better I treat others and the more I endure, the more I will feel sorry and

guilty towards you. I've wronged you, yet here you are waiting for me. Instead of blaming me, you think

so highly of me. I really feel bad for treating you like this."

His voice sounded so apologetic. It was low, deep, and full of his emotions.

He felt conflicted, guilty, sorry, and helpless.

"It doesn't matter," Grace did not mind. "As you said, I am your woman. It's okay if you wrong me; I'll

understand you more than the outsiders do.”novelbin

Upon hearing that, Heinz was stunned, and his eyes began to twitch.

He looked at her and couldn't believe that she would be so forgiving.

"Grace!" He whispered in a hoarse voice. "Are you a silly girl?"

"No," Grace shook her head. "I think a lifetime is more important than a short period of time."

Heinz stared at her. He was really surprised.

Grace laughed and said, "My point is I don't feel sad or wronged. No matter who you give in to and who

you take care of, it is your morality. As long as you don't associate with other women or have an affair

with someone else, I will not bother."

"Grace," Heinz said in a deep voice. "Don't worry. I won't be associated with any other woman, and I

won't have an affair either." "I trust you," Grace yawned again. "I'm really going to sleep now."

"All right, let's go to sleep."

At the end of the day, he still respected her and did not force her into doing something she did not want

to.

However, when the medicine was prepared, she had to wake up and take the medicine.

It was three hours past midnight.

After taking the medicine, she wrinkled her face. "Heinz, you just don't want me to rest."

"For the sake of your body, of course, I have to make sure you take your medicine." He gave her a cup

of water to her to take the medicine. She continued to sleep after drinking it.

When she woke up early in the morning, she got a phone call.

It was an unknown number. She picked it up and said, "Hello."

"Grace, I'm Queenie Stone."

"Queenie?"

"Yes, keep it as a secret, especially if you are at Heinz's place. Don't tell others."

"Ah," She looked in the direction of the bathroom. "Okay."

"I want to meet you."

"When would be a good time?" Grace asked.

"Can we meet at eight o'clock later?"

"Sure," agreed Grace. She looked at her watch. It was seven o'clock, and she could still make it.

They made an appointment to meet in the hospital. She quickly got up and washed up. She didn't tell

Heinz about the meeting; she only said that she had something to deal with today and that she would

arrive at the office sooner.

Heinz sent her to the newspaper office.

She took another cab to the hospital and met Chief Stone.

"Is there something urgent?" Grace asked. She had roughly guessed what had happened. It must have

something to do with Nathan Lawson.

Sure enough, Chief Stone said, "Grace, I have no choice but to find you. I would like to ask you for a

favor."

"Chief Stone, go on," Grace said frankly. "Whatever you need me to do, as long as I am able to, I can

do it for you."

"You can do it, but I know it's hard for you to do it. I am afraid that you will be angry with Heinz after you

know it."

"Are you referring to Jodie?" Grace took a guess.

"Ah, so you know?" Chief Stone was extremely shocked.

She nodded and said, "I know, but Heinz doesn't know that I know that he is supporting Jodie's

parents."

Chief Stone was taken aback again. "Then how did you know?"

"I just happened to know," Grace said. "Just tell me what you want me to do."

"Okay, so," Chief Stone sighed and said, "Nathan, Jodie's father, is my cousin-in-law. He is still unable

to get past the fact that Heinz has fallen in love with you five years ago, lived with you, and had a child

with you. He didn't listen to any of Heinz's explanations. He thought that Heinz betrayed Jodie, so he

has been angry. His body is not well and we are all worried. Pearlyn is Jodie's mother and my cousin.

She has seen you before. We need a favor from you to tell Jodie's father what has happened between

you Heinz and try to get him out of the dead end."

Grace was stunned. After thinking for a while, she nodded and said, "Well, I need to be at the

newspaper office at nine o'clock. Let's do it now."

"Okay," Queenie was also very grateful. "Thank you very much. I didn't misjudge you. You're a good

person."

"You're welcome."

"Wait a minute, if he says something unpleasant, don't take it to heart," warned Queenie.

"I don't care to argue with old people."

Soon, she was taken to Nathan's ward. When the bodyguards saw Grace, they were stunned and

thought that they had mistaken someone for her.

After repeatedly making sure that it was Grace, they immediately reported to Lester, "Oh no, Brother

Lester, Chief Stone took Miss Smith to see Mr. Lawson. What should we do now?"
