Chapter 322

Heinz furrowed his eyebrows tightly. He was in a bad mood. Suddenly, he thought of a photo in the

email, which was similar to the one attached on his face.

He turned on his cell phone again and browsed through his emails. He didn't see any new email after

the several ones he had received that time.

Furthermore, those emails were full of mockery, each scolding him.

What kind of hatred that sender must have towards him to pull off such a prank?

Heinz thought about all the people who he had offended, except for the businessmen, who else had he

possibly offended?

He racked his brain and felt that no one would be bold enough to provoke him like this.

Heinz didn't feel like sleeping at first, but now the idea of sleeping had absolutely vanished. Thus, he

might as well get up.

His phone rang again, it was Lester.

Heinz guessed that Lester had also found out about the matter.

He picked up the phone immediately and Lester's voice came blasting in his ears, "President, our

company's website has been hacked."

"I know," Heinz replied in a low voice. "Lester, contact Manager Wells now. We must find the culprit

today.

Also, settle the company's website immediately."

"I'm looking into it already," Lester said. "And I'm fixing the website now."

"I have an email address here which I'll give it to you so you can investigate it as well." Heinz hung up

the phone after saying that and forwarded the email address to Lester.

Lester received the address and started to investigate it along with the matter on the website.

Then, Heinz went to take a shower and was ready to go to the company.

At half-past seven, he was already at the company. He stood in front of the french windows as the sun

rose in the morning, narrowing his eyes.

Why hadn't everything been going well recently?

Eight o'clock in the morning, Grace sent Little Gary to the kindergarten and then went to the newspaper

office. Her eyelids were twitching and she had a bad feeling about it.

She felt very strange but couldn't quite put her finger on it.

When she arrived at the newspaper office, she found that the chocolate there had been removed.

Grace breathed a sigh of relief.

Hermione came over quickly and grabbed Grace by the wrist. Without saying a word, she took Grace to

her office.

"Editor?" Grace called her in confusion.

Hermione did not answer. When she reached the door of her office, she opened it and pulled Grace in.

Then, she closed the door, loosened her grip and looked at Grace as she said, "How did it go? Were

you being taken advantage of?"

Grace felt helpless. When she thought about what had happened the day before, she still felt

embarrassed.

Hermione looked at her hesitant expression and apologized, "I'm sorry, Grace. I didn't protect you well."

Grace was very rational. She shook her head, "No, Sister Lowe, I know that this has nothing to do with

you."

"But it happened in the newspaper office," Hermione still felt that she had the responsibility to prevent

this. "When I went back yesterday, I was watched by Heinz’s two assistants. I couldn't even make a

phone call."

"It doesn't matter, Sister Lowe," Grace shook her head and reassured her. "I really don't blame you."

"I called you later that day. However, your phone was switched off," Hermione still felt bad about it. "I'm

very worried and guilty."

Grace shook her head again. She knew that the incident had nothing to do with Hermione.

"I'm sorry for trying to be a lobbyist before, I didn't expect Mr. Jones to be so overbearing. Grace, I

swear to you that I will never do that again," Hermione stared at Grace with a stern expression. "I was

reckless before."

Grace nodded, "Thank you. Sister Lowe, no matter what, I know you're doing this out of good

intention." "Sometimes good intentions end up into bad things," Hermione sighed. "I did something bad.

Now I finally understand your reluctance."novelbin

That kind of man, regardless of the circumstances, bullied a woman at will. No matter how good his

appearance or financial status was, he was never as attractive compared to a man who respected

women.

Hermione was very upset with herself, "I was really blind. I have even suggested that you continue the

relationship. I'm really annoyed at myself."

"Sister Lowe, can we stop talking about him?" Grace looked at Hermione helplessly as she spoke, "He

has probably never been rejected before. In the past, it was he who rejected the others. Since I refused

him this time, it may have hurt his self-esteem. But I know very well that I really can't accept him like

this."

"I understand. Let’s drop the subject. Forget it," Hermione chirped. "By the way, I submitted the editorial

work yesterday in the middle of the night, it will be published today. Please take a look at the

response."

"I haven't been able to check it yet," said Grace.

Hermione added, "The response should be very good. If it's good, we will do follow-up interviews with

the other lecturers in the entire lecture hall. In this way, we will have weekly content, and our

newspaper office will certainly have good sales performance."

"But we don't know anyone else," Grace said worriedly.

Hermione said, "What are you afraid of? With Professor Charlie taking the lead, the others will usually

not refuse us."

"Who knows what they're thinking?" Grace still felt worried.

"Don’t worry. By the way, we have prepared a gift for Professor Charlie," Hermione stated as she

walked to her desk and took an inkstone on the desk. It looked very unique. There was a bloodstone

too.

Grace blinked in surprise, "What’s this?"

"Grace, this is left by my father. My father is a literary man, and these things are from ancient times,"

Hermione sighed. "Only those who appreciate them will treasure them. Pass this to your friend in order

to give them to Professor Charlie."

Grace asked, "But Editor, aren't they too valuable?"

"No," Hermione shook her head. "These things can only be treasured and show their values when they

are in the hands of someone who appreciates them. In my hands, they are just the so-called museum

collections. Even if I know them, I won't use them. If I don't use them, they have no value.

Professor Charlie is a middle-aged master and is known for his calligraphy. If you give these to him, he

will like them."

Grace pondered for a moment and said, "But will he accept them since they are prized items?"

Hermione replied, "That's why I need your friend to give them to him. You can tell him that you wanted

to find a good place for these treasures. Other things don't really matter."

Grace saw how adamant Hermione was, so she didn' t pursue further. "Okay, I'll send them to him

later."

Hermione nodded and dismissed her, "Alright, go ahead."

At 9:30 a.m., at the door of the president's office of the Jones Estate.

Lester, Manager Wells, and Alex appeared at the door with a child with them.

Everyone looked at each other, awed at the little fella who looked so much alike their president. He was

wearing a T-shirt with a kitten image printed at the front, a pair of jeans, and a pair of shoes with a

caterpillar design.

The little fella was not afraid at all. He simply swaggered around and was not bothered by all the

attention he got.

"Why does this child resemble our president so much?"

"Yeah, could he be the son of our president?"

"I think so." When the staff at the secretary desk saw Gary, they started whispering.

When they arrived at the door, Lester opened the door and announced, "President Jones, we've

brought the guy here."
