Chapter 321

Grace's face turned pale. After a long pause, she said, "I see, that’s what you think. No wonder our

thinking is different."

"Then, who has the same thinking as you? Tyler?" Heinz asked, and his tone was lined with jealousy.

Grace paused for a moment and said, "Yes, he and I became friends because we have the same

interest."

These words sounded harsh to Heinz.novelbin

He sucked in a breath and pursed his lips, his tone lacing with sarcasm, "Grace, why don't you just tell

me that you have fallen in love with another man and that you can’t stand me anymore?"

Grace was baffled. Why did he have to be so impulsive?

She argued, "Heinz, why are you so narrow-minded? Jensen and you are good brothers, and you guys

have the same interest. Same goes to Tyler and me. Not to mention that I didn't fall for him. Even if I

did, I am single, it's my freedom to fall in love with anyone. You have no right to interfere."

Heinz took another breath.

Grace continued quietly, "I'm not trying to pick a fight. Heinz, can you be more rational?"

"What exactly do you want?" Heinz asked in a seemingly bottomless voice.

"Respect and equality," Grace enunciated word by word. "These, in your dictionary, are not given to a

woman."

This was the real crux of the problem.

At this moment, Grace had also cleared her mind and finally found the answer she wanted the most.

Yes, respect and equality.

Heinz probably wasn' t disrespectful towards women. He despised women.

Hearing this, Heinz was completely stunned and did not speak for a long time.

"That's all I have to say." After that, Grace hung up the phone.

All she could feel was exhaustion. That call had exhausted all her energy.

She sat down on a long wooden bench at the garden of the residential area located downstairs of her

apartment as she took in the night scene. Her heart had eased significantly.

After she poured everything out, she felt calm.

When the phone rang again, she glimpsed at it and found that it was still a call from Heinz.

She picked it up.

"Grace," Heinz's hoarse voice came from the other side. "Have you watched Animal Planet before?"

Grace was perplexed. She didn't understand what he's trying to say.

Nevertheless, she replied, "Yes."

"Then, have you seen the world of lions?" Heinz asked again.

Grace was dumbfounded. She thought of the lion, a symbol of viciousness, full of power and plunder.

Heinz then elaborated, "If the lion isn't strong enough, how can it attract the lioness? If the lion isn't

overbearing enough, how can it get a mate? The lion probably has no chance to even touch the

lioness, let alone having cubs."

Grace inhaled sharply. This man's metaphor made her blush. She held the phone in embarrassment

and was at a loss for words for a long time.

"In the world of animals, it’s the survival of the fittest. If I am not domineering enough and was a sissy

instead, I am afraid that we can't even enjoy the sex. Am I right?" Heinz added in a deep voice. His

tone steadied gradually.

She didn't say anything.

"You have to admit that my dominance and aggressiveness are more than common for a man," as

Heinz went on, he found himself gaining more confidence. "That's why we had pleasurable sex and you

were happy."

"Stop saying it," Grace murmured.

Heinz ignored her and continued, "You don't want to hear it because what I said is true. You can't deny

it, you don't like a sissy man."

"Yes, I don't like that kind of man," Grace said frankly. "But this doesn't mean that you can bully me as

you please. You don't know how to respect others."

"I want you," he suddenly deepened his voice.

Grace was at a loss for words.

He said, "Grace, I regretted letting you go. I shouldn't have let you leave. I should have f*cked you so

hard that you have to beg for my mercy. Then, you won't have the strength to argue with me anymore."

"You... you are sick," Grace gasped and hung up the phone in exasperation.

It was a waste of time. He wouldn't listen to her.

She hung up the phone and switched the device off. She didn't want to argue with Heinz anymore.

Because there would be no end.

Grace stayed downstairs for a while and went upstairs.

Upstairs, Tyler was still in the room with Little Gary. Jensen was with Alice, and they were staring at

each other.

They didn't seem like they were dating each other at all. It was more like they were just spending the

days.

The two just hung out together with no excitement, only mundane daily routines

When Jensen saw Grace coming back, he stood up and said, "Grace, it's good that you are back. I

should go now. I have something to do at the station."

"Alice will see you off," Grace said.

"I'm not going to," Alice shook her head. "Jensen, you can go now."

Jensen sighed helplessly. "Okay, I'll go by myself. Don't go out later. It's not safe at night."

Alice was stunned, and there was a hint of guilt in her eyes.

She didn’t expect he would be so thoughtful. She didn't dare look at him.

After that, Jensen left.

Grace looked at Alice and smiled. She didn't say anything and went in.

That night, Grace didn't sleep very well. She had a dream that she stepped on nothing and fell into the

abyss.

She was so frightened that her forehead was covered with sweats as she woke up from her dream and

sat up.

Alice was still sleeping.

Grace looked at her watch. It was five o'clock in the morning.

Grace got up and went out to serve herself a glass of water. When she saw the light from her son's

room, she knocked on the door. "Little Gary?"

"Mommy!" Little Gary opened the door quickly. His big eyes were twinkling when he saw his mother, he

queried, "Why are you up so early?"

"I was just about to ask you that,'1 Grace asked. "Why are you up so early?"

"I can't sleep anymore," Little Gary replied. "Mommy, you should go back and sleep some more. I will

go to sleep for a little longer too."

The little fellow obviously wanted to close the door.

Grace hesitated for a moment and went into his room, "We can sleep just a while longer. I'll accompany

you."

Little Gary was slightly surprised and responded,

"Oh, okay."

The mother and son got in the bed together. Grace lay down beside her son.

Little Gary looked at the direction of the notebook placed on his desk.

He had a cunning look in his eyes.

It was 5:30 a.m.

Heinz, who had not slept for the whole night, was jolted awake by his phone.

He glanced at it. It was the manager of the Public Relations Department from his company.

He picked up the phone quickly, "Manager Wells?"

"President, something's wrong," Manager Wells sounded very anxious over the phone. "The pages on

the company's website have been sabotaged."

"Sabotaged?" Heinz was shocked and his heart skipped a beat. He asked, "How did this happen?"

"Our website has been hacked. It was a dirty trick and an insult to our Jones Estate," Manager Wells

hissed. "It's obviously a prank from some punks."

"Investigate it now." Heinz ordered in a clipped tone, "Whoever did it, don't let him get away."

"Yes, I'll act on it right away," Manager Wells was also enraged. "Don't worry, I'll give you an answer

when you come to the office today."

"Okay, I'll wait for your report," Heinz said and hung up the phone. He then quickly opened the website.

As expected, someone had messed up the website, and his photo was vandalized with sh*ts as well.
