True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 1704

"Why just me? Aren't you supposed to be congratulating yourself as well?" Ernest laughed, "Is it justme, or do you sound like you have some strong opinion about this matter?"

"Well, it's not like my opinion matters anyways. It's not like we can force mom to get an abortion,right? They're going to be our younger siblings nevertheless," Gary snorted softly, then let out ahelpless sigh.

Gary was already in his early twenties. He couldn't help but cringe at the thought of two babysiblings squabbling around him.

It would definitely be beyond awkward.

But there was nothing he could do.

After all, Heinz and his mother were free to do whatever they wanted. He had no right to interferewith their lives.

Therefore, even if he had some reservations about Grace's pregnancy, he could not voice them out.He could only accept and respect Heinz and his mother's decision.

"You're right. In that case, let's just accept it as it is with a smile," Ernest replied in a calm tone.Ernest had always been a very easy-going person. As such, he sounded unaffected, as if nothingout of the ordinary had happened.

"Of course. I'll do that then," After that, Gary hung up, then turned to look at Celeste.

At that moment, Celeste shot him a sympathetic look, as though she was a mother gazing upon hersulking child who was reluctant and jealous to share his mother with other siblings.

Gary met her gaze and smiled, "Why are you looking at me like that? Do you think I'm sulking? I'mnot a child, you know?"novelbin

"But you're sulking, aren't you?" Celeste paused and asked hesitantly, "Are you sure you're notupset and jealous over this? In my opinion, you seem to be pretty unhappy about this wholesituation."

Gary didn't know how to react to that and sighed, "Do you think I'm that childish?"

Celeste stared at him with wide eyes. After a long while, she nodded.

"Are you kidding me? You don't really think so, do you?" Gary asked in a helpless tone.

Celeste nodded firmly once more and explained, "I've always thought you were childish. It's prettyobvious that you're currently acting like a child who's jealous of your new siblings. It's prettyendearing."

"I'm already in my twenties! I'm not jealous of them. I just think it's weird that I'll have siblings somuch younger than me," Gary argued.

"Well, Aunt Smith and Uncle Heinz don't think it's weird, so why should you?" Celeste patted him onthe shoulder and said comfortingly, "To be honest, I think you don't have to be so weirded out by thewhole pregnancy. I'll be with you every step of the way. Well help Aunt Smith and Uncle Heinz takecare of the baby twins in the future, alright? They are your siblings after all."

Gary could not deny that fact and could only heave a sigh, "I guess you're right."

"Indeed. Think about it. There are so many people on earth, but how many can form a closer bondwith you other than your own siblings?" Celeste coaxed with a tender gaze. She was trying her bestto soothe Gary's anxieties.

Gary gently placed his arm around Celeste's shoulders and laughed, "Why are you comforting me?Do you think I'm weak-minded just because of this?"

"Well, sometimes. You're not invincible or forever strong. You know that, right?" "Oh? Even in thebedroom?" Gary shot Celeste an ambiguous grin.

Celeste blushed from Gary's intense gaze. She hurriedly stammered, "What on earth are youtalking about?"

"You know what I mean," Gary chuckled, his smile deepening with every word he said.

Celeste blushed harder and withdrew her hand from his, "I don't want to talk to you anymore."

She went back to work with reddened cheeks. Gary watched her blush with an adoring, doting lookin his eyes.

He wanted to dote on Celeste for the rest of his life. Furthermore, he wanted to have a few childrenwith her as well.

While his parents were about to have another set of twins to raise, Gary was planning to have somechildren of his own with Celeste as well.

In the evening, everyone had made their way back to the mansion. The atmosphere was very lively.

Although Heinz had said that they weren't going to have a celebration, when the children found outthat Grace had gotten pregnant again, everyone was elated.

When Gary and Ernest arrived, they had huge smiles planted on their faces. They seemed reallyhappy.

It was clear that the two had processed the news and sorted out their emotions beforehand.

Maria and Liam had also been surprised by the news, especially Maria. After she heard about thepregnancy, she looked at Gary and Ernest sympathetically. The minute they walked into themansion, she lowered her voice and said with a smile, "Congratulations, Gary, Ernest. It seems likethe family is only going to grow larger and larger! Isn't that great?"

Gary smiled at Maria and said, "Why don't you get your parents to try for another child too?"

"I wouldn't mind," Maria did not seem taken aback by the suggestion and grinned, "I'm just worriedthat my mom's body would not be able to bear it. Besides, I don't think my dad would let her gothrough the pain of giving birth again."

Gary pursed his lips and shot back, "Well, have you asked your mother about it? She might bewilling to bear the pain if it's for another child."

"Well, that's her choice. As long as she's fine with it, I won't mind," Maria smiled at Gary.

Liam hurriedly grabbed Maria by the hand and said to Gary, "Maria's just a little over- excited. Don'tmind her."

"Oh? Liam, are you worried that I am bullying Maria?" Gary raised his eyebrows and smirked.

"You can just try," Liam scoffed with a slight smile. However, he still had Maria's hand gripped tightlyin his. It was clear that he was being protective of Maria.

Instead of getting angry at him, Gary only chuckled, "You're right, I wouldn't. She's my cousin, afterall. Isn't that right, Celeste?"

Celeste glared at him, "I'll be the first one to stop you if you ever start picking on Maria."

Everyone laughed at that.

Grace and Heinz watched them chat from afar. Grace assumed that they were probably talkingabout something that had to do with her pregnancy.

To be honest, she was pretty embarrassed about the entire situation. She didn't know how to tell thekids that she was going to be pregnant a third time, and with twins too.

However, Heinz had informed her that he had told Gary about it. As such, it seemed that everyoneelse had gotten the memo as well.

Soon, Grace went downstairs.

Most of the children were already home. Grace could not help herself from feeling embarrassed infront of Gary, Ernest, and Celeste. After all, Celeste was her future daughter-in-law, so it was a littlehumiliating.

Grace should be expecting grandchildren at her age. However, she had suddenly gotten pregnantinstead.

"Hello, Aunt Smith," Celeste walked over to her with a sincere smile on her face, "Uncle Heinz,congratulations to you as well. We're going to get two more additions to the family."

"Oh, Celeste, this must be weird for you, isn't it? I'm sorry," Grace did not try to play down howawkward the news must have been for Celeste.

"It's not, don't worry. This is good news, isn't it? I sincerely think that this is wonderful!" Celesteclarified quickly, "We're all really happy for you. Our family's going to grow bigger in the future,which is wonderful!"

"I like how you think, Celeste. You're right, we really are going to get two more additions to thefamily. I'm sure they'll lend you a helping hand when you need any help in the future," Heinz noddedas he spoke.

"That's right," Celeste nodded as well. She didn't have any siblings growing up, so she never reallyexperienced familial love when she was younger.

However, she had been the happiest she'd ever been these past few years with the Jones family.She was able to experience love from both family and friends. In fact, she loved the feeling ofhaving a family and a warm home to return to.

Anyone who had a family would be able to understand that.

Heinz was able to see how sincere Celeste's blessings were. He felt comforted by it. It seemed thathe had not raised her in vain.

He was very satisfied by how much Celeste had grown up. At the very least, Celeste managed todeal with both Cindy and Sinclair boldly.

She was good at differentiating right and wrong, and she knew how to avoid crossing the line.Initially, Heinz had thought that Celeste wasn't a right fit for Gary. But at that moment, Heinz thoughtthat Celeste and Gary were a match made in heaven.

Gary needed someone like Celeste in his life to guide him. He needed a woman that was tough andindependent. Otherwise, Heinz knew that Gary would not be able to turn away from his old ways.

A good marriage was marked by the fact that the two individuals involved could help each other togrow.

"Celeste, please chat with your aunt for a while more. She's been nervous and embarrassed abouther pregnancy ever since she found out. She thinks giving birth at her age is a little too late, butshe's only in her early forties. I personally don't think that it's that bad. I've heard that many womencan still give birth in their fifties," Heinz said to Celeste.

Celeste sat beside Grace and chatted to her about other things to get Grace's mind off of thematter.

A short while later, Gary and Ernest walked over to them.

When Grace noticed that her sons were walking up to her, she subconsciously tensed up.
