Chapter 1682

He could tell that Celeste was worried about him getting angry, so Gary immediately relaxed hisexpressions. He nodded and told Celeste in a gentle way, "You are right. They are coming here sothat they can let go of their worries."

"That's right." Celeste nodded too and smiled at Gary.

Ernest, Liam, and Maria were stunned when they saw how they were getting along. It seemed thatCeleste was the only one who could stop Gary.

Gary actually controlled his usual arrogant self in front of Celeste. He tried his best to show her hispatience and tenderness.

Maria looked at Liam calmly. Coincidentally, he turned to look at her too. Their eyes met.

Liam raised his eyebrows and said softly, "Come on, let's have a rest."

Maria nodded, and she felt a real sense of relief.

Back then, even though she knew that Liam's feelings for her were getting stronger than everbefore, she was still not that confident. As she realized then that Liam no longer had feelings for

Celeste like he did before, she slowly let her guard down.

Maria looked at Liam and nodded. She smiled brightly. "Okay, let's go and take a rest."

Everyone said their goodnights to each other and went upstairs.

As they were leaving, Maria deliberately turned around to look at Ernest.

Ernest was a smart person, so he naturally understood the meaning in his cousin's eyes. His gazewas a little sharp and he said, "Liam, I am afraid I can't rest yet. There is still something I need to

talk to you about."

Liam was stunned. All of a sudden, he thought of something and immediately told Ernest, "Okay, let's go to your room to talk. I will take Maria back to our room first."

"Okay, I will wait for you in my room." Ernest smiled at Maria. The look in his eyes was mysterious, and Maria started having some doubts. She felt an indescribable feeling.

She looked at Liam suspiciously. Was there something going on between Liam and Ernest that shedidn't know?

She asked directly, "It's so late, what kind of topic do you grown men have to talk about?"

"Naturally, there are some important things,"

Ernest smiled and said, "Maria, go rest first. I need to borrow Liam for a while. I will return him toyou soon."

"Ernest." When Liam saw how mysterious Ernest was intentionally acting, he quickly reminded him,"That's enough, stop teasing Maria."

He took her hand and went upstairs.

After entering the room, Maria still could not help but to hug Liam. She asked him, "What are yougoing to talk to Ernest about? Are you hiding something from me?"

"There are some things I need to talk to Ernest about. Give me ten minutes, I will be right back, andI'll let you know then," Liam said. With that, he gave Maria a kiss on her forehead.

Maria had no choice but to let him go.

Even though she did not know what Liam meant by that, she still trusted him and noddedobediently.

Liam then walked out of the door, went upstairs and entered Ernest's room.

"Have you and Leah finished the contract?" Liam asked Ernest.

Ernest nodded at once. "Yes, Liam. I have read the contract which Leah wrote too. We havemodified it a bit after some research. She used a few samples as reference, and added some casesof her own to further complete the draft. Come and have a look, and see what you think of thiscontract compared to your previous one."

"Wait, were you guys really that serious?" Even Liam felt somewhat embarrassed. He immediatelytook over the contract which Ernest had printed.

He sat and and read through it seriously.

"Have a look first. Leah said that she can amend anything that you think needs improvements on."

"Sure, I will have a look first."

After 15 minutes.

Liam finished reading the contract, and he had read it very seriously, word by word.

When he was finished, he sighed. "This contract is really done completely according to my wishes.Ernest, your girlfriend is truly a smart girl. She has strong comprehension skills."

Ernest smiled and said, "So, are you satisfied with this contract?"

"I am very satisfied."

"Then, do we still need to make any alterations?" Ernest asked again.

"No, there's no need to change anything. It's good enough." Liam was delighted. "I will send thiscontract to Uncle Jones so that he can keep a copy of it." "Actually, the contract is just a formality. You need to be self-disciplined and control your behaviors. There really isn't a need for this contractat all." Ernest continued, "However, I can understand your thoughts. You want to let uncle and Mariaknow your real feelings."

"I understand what they think and feel. However, I still need to do this properly." Liam held thecontract tightly. "When Uncle Jones and Aunt Smith come, I will ask them to help me bring thiscontract back to the law department of the Lowe Group. This is the proof of my feelings for Maria."

"Well done, Liam." Ernest rather admired him too. "You are really a suitable candidate for Maria."

"Of course, Maria and I are made for each other. She is a lovely girl." Liam truly appreciated her.

Ernest nodded. "Celeste is only suitable for my brother."

When he said that, Ernest was looking at Liam. Liam was also stunned for a little while. After that,he smiled and nodded.

"You are absolutely correct. A boy like Gary needs a gentle girl like her. That's the only way toresolve his unique personality. When they are together, it's like they are a match made in heaven. You and Leah are also the most suitable for each other."

Liam looked at Ernest with a smile.

Perhaps they would only understand the feeling after experiencing a lot together.

Ernest understood Liam's thoughts, and Liam understood Ernest's too.

The two of them looked at each other and smiled.

After Liam took the contract, he said, "You go rest, I will go back and let Maria see this."

"Sure, go ahead." Ernest took the contract for him. After printing three copies, he handed all of themto him and specifically reminded him, "Liam, you should prepare some tissues first. Maria will bemoved to tears after reading the contract."

"Will she cry?" Liam was a little nervous. "Why would she cry? I don't want her to cry."

"Well, Liam, you might not want her to cry, but she will still be moved," Ernest said.

Liam was stunned. He pursed his lips, nodded and left without another word.

Soon after that, he returned to his room.

When he handed the contract to Maria, as expected, Maria was stunned. Tears really flowed out ofher eyes.

Drops of crystal clear tears rolled down her fair cheeks, and they fell fiercely.

"Are you really crying?" Liam handed her a tissue.

Maria did not take the tissue.

Liam could only pull out the contract from her hands and placed it aside. He wiped her tears for her.

"Why are you crying? This is just a contract. There is no need for you to be so touched by this, isthere?" He gently wiped her tears from her eyes with a tissue.

However, tears still rolled down her cheeks.

He looked at Maria's teary face. She seemed so weak, which greatly softened his heart.

Liam sighed and said, "Silly girl, why are you still crying?"

"Why did you draft this contract?" Maria said, "I'm just touched. I didn't want you to do this."

"You didn't want me to do this, but this is a proof of my love for you," Liam said, "I also want to showmy true feelings for you in front of your parents, and only by doing this can I reassure them."

"Don't worry," Maria said. "Besides, this is between you and me. You don't have to worry about whatthey think. I think my family will respect my choice."

Liam said, "This is different. Maria, your family is very tolerant and magnanimous, but I can't beignorant. I must take practical action to prove my determination." "Okay, if you must prove it like this, then we can sign it." Maria did not object. "However, have you really thought this through? This is acontract for a life time. Once you sign it, you will be by my side forever."

"Of course, I won't ever regret it."

"However, what if you find someone you really love in the future? What if this person is not actuallyme?"

"I've found someone I love. It's you," Liam blurted out without hesitation.

As he said that, the two of them were both surprised. They looked at each other, stunned and didnot speak.

Love was such a strong word, but Liam was able to say it so easily.

As they looked at each other, Liam regained his senses after a brief daze. He smiled at Maria againand said, "I love you, silly girl. If I don't love you, why would I give you all of me?

If I don't love you, how could I be so fascinated by you? Why would I just can't have enough of you?I am not a man without integrity.

In the entertainment circle, there are lots of people who have problems with their values, but I amnot one of them.

I am very serious. I know what I want and what I don't. So, to me, love is something that lasts for alifetime once it starts."novelbin

Maria covered her mouth, and tears started to roll down her face again. The more she cried, themore violent her tears became.

"Maria?" Seeing her like that, Liam was also shocked that he immediately asked, "What's wrong?"

Maria shook her head and said, "I'm fine. I'm just too touched. You said that you love me."

"Yes, I love you." He was not such a person who showed a lot of emotions to people around him,but when facing Maria, he still told her his feelings seriously, for he feared that she would think toomuch if he didn't.

"I love you too, Liam. I love you so much." Maria wrapped her arms around his neck and buried herface in his chest. "Since the beginning till now, from my teenage years until right now, and for therest of my life, I know that I will only love you. Liam Robinson, I love you."

Apart from him, she would not love anyone else.

Maria would use her youth and her life to love Liam.

Ever since she was young, when she first saw his debut, she knew that she loved him.

He had a clean smile, an untainted charm, and upright moral values too.

She had really gotten what she had been waiting for. She really had received it then, both his bodyand his heart.

She was so happy, and she felt that she was the happiest woman in the world.
