Maria looked at Liam in surprise for a while, then smiled in embarrassment.
"Of course I know that my father loves me. I know that he loves me a lot. He's strict with mebecause when I was young, I lived alone with him for over a year. In fact, my relationship with myfather is sometimes deeper than me and my mother's."
Liam nodded and added, "Your parents are all very great, even your grandmother. They're so muchnicer than how I imagined them to be."
"It was rather unexpected that they did not make things difficult for you." Maria heaved a sigh ofrelief. "I was not confident at first. I even thought that my father would make things difficult for you,but that doesn't seem to be the case, does it?"
Liam nodded. "Not only did he not make things difficult for me, he even talked a lot with me. Heknows you well, and he is even willing to help me terminate my contract for you."
Liam knew all too well that Zachary was doing all that for Maria.
"What did my father say about the contract termination?" Maria was still worried about that.
"He'll finalize the team of lawyers tomorrow morning. He said that I don't have to worry too muchafter that. I just need to cooperate with them," Liam explained as he drove.
"If you want to terminate your contract in advance, you're really going to need my father's help. Thetwo of us alone are not strong enough to do so." Maria understood their limits well.
"I told your father that I'll sign a lifetime contract with you in the future," Liam said, glancing at her.
Maria was surprised. "A lifetime contract?"
"That's right, a lifetime contract."
Maria's heart was suddenly beating faster. She could not believe that he was actually willing to dothat.
She widened her eyes. "Aren't you afraid that I'll fail you?"
Liam smiled and asked, "Would you?"
"Of course not. But what if? Liam, how can you trust me just like this? This is wrong." Maria tried toconvince him. "You can't trust others so easily. Liam, you can't be serious."
Liam looked at Maria with a hint of a smile in his eyes. "Silly girl. You've given your heart to me. Isthere anything more precious than that? Why should I be wary of you?"
Maria was dumbfounded at first, then she blushed and gave an embarrassed smile. "That'sdifferent. That's just my feelings. But you're handing over your feelings and your career into mycare. Are you sure about that?"
Liam nodded and said seriously, "Yes, I'll give you my everything."
Maria was touched by his words. She stared at him in disbelief, feeling that he had really shockedher that day.
Soon, Liam was driving into the underground garage of his apartment building. Maria turned to himand said, "Liam, I'm so touched."
Liam smiled. He did not say anything, but in reality, he was touched by Maria's family.
Zachary had offered to terminate the contract for him. Liam knew it would cost a lot to do so, butZachary did not hesitate at all.
Therefore, he needed to show his sincerity. He felt that he needed to give Maria everything he couldin order to live up to her parent's expectations and kindness.
He parked the car.
Maria was in no hurry to get out of the car. She tilted her head and looked at Liam. "Did you reallysay that to my father?" "Of course." Liam nodded.
"What did he say? Was he touched?" Maria asked curiously.
Liam shook his head. "I couldn't whether he was touched, but I think that he was shocked. He saidthat we should talk about that after the termination of my contract, but I've decided that you'll be incharge of everything about me in the future. My scripts, the jobs I take, and everything else."
"Wow! You have so much respect for me. I'm so touched." Maria smiled happily, her eyes sparkling.
Liam smiled and said, "You get emotional too easily. Come on, let's go upstairs."
"Okay, let's bring the food up." Maria smiled.
They got out of the car together. Liam was holding several heavy bags. Maria wanted to help, soLiam handed her a bag that was quite light. "Here, take this. Let's go up first, I will come down againlater."
"Let me help. I'm very strong," Maria said. "There's no need for you to come back down."
Liam shook his head and said, "No, you shouldn't carry any heavy bags."
As they were talking, a car suddenly drove into the underground parking garage. The lights werevery bright, and it shone on them from afar.
Liam said, "Come on, there's a car coming. Let's go."

From afar, Teresa saw Liam with a woman. The woman had long hair that was tied up into a bun.She looked cute and had a good figure. She was also dressed like a student. Teresa's whole body stiffened at the sight.
After parking her car, she sat inside for a long time. So, that was the person Liam liked. Teresathought to herself.
He had brought a girl back at night. From the looks of it, they were staying in the same apartmenttoo.
He really did have a girlfriend, yet she did not know about it.
Teresa felt devastated. She could not believe that it was true.
How had she not known about it? Liam was on such good terms with the Lowe family, yet no one inthe entertainment circle knew about it.
She continued to sit in her car. After a long time, she finally got ready to get out.
At that moment, she suddenly saw Liam coming back. She immediately got out of her car and rantoward him.
After going upstairs with Maria and leaving the bags he had taken, he had come back down to bringup the remaining things. Suddenly, he realized that Teresa was blocking his way.
She looked flustered, and there was a trace of astonishment and hurt in her eyes. She looked athim with an expression that reflected the mix of emotions she was feeling.
Slightly taken aback, he said, "Teresa?"
"Who was that girl?" Teresa asked directly.
Liam was stunned. So, Teresa had seen them. If that was the case, Liam did not have to hideanything from her. Liam thought to himself. Then, he answered, "My girlfriend."
"Are you really in a relationship?" Teresa was still looking at him in disbelief. "Are you really dating?"
"Yes, I am," Liam said frankly. "I love her very much, and she is also a very nice woman."
The color drained from Teresa's face. However, Liam just looked at her indifferently. He thought thather expression was too ridiculous.
Teresa had used every means available to be on good terms with rich old men for her career. Now,she looked so sad upon knowing that he had found a girlfriend. He was really speechless.
"I still have something to do. Goodbye," hesaid.
It was obvious that he did not want to talk to her anymore.
Teresa was very upset. "Liam, wait."
Liam frowned. "What more do you want?"
"Liam, do you live with your girlfriend?" Teresa asked.
"That's my personal affairs. I don't have to tell you. But since you're so concerned about it, I don'tmind telling you that I'm very serious about her. I will marry her."
