Chapter 1604

Ernest had to admit that Leah had a very rare sense of rationality. She always dealt with problemsvery maturely, and never acted on impulse.

He kept his card and didn't push her any further. He knew that the right thing to do was for him torespect Leah's way of dealing with things.

Now it was time to apply medicine on her.novelbin

Ernest looked at Leah and hesitated for a moment. Frankly, he was feeling quite embarrassed, buthe still mustered up the courage to say, "I went out to buy some ointment. I'll help you put it on yourwound later. I'll go wash up then come back and help you, okay? You get ready."

Leah was stunned and asked in reply, "What ointment? Where are you supposed to apply it?"

Why did she have a strange feeling that he was talking about... that part of her?

Ernest turned his head to look at her, his eyes twinkling like stars. "The part where you're hurt."

"Oh." Leah was extremely surprised. "Is there such an ointment? Are you sure that's what it's for?"

Ernest felt awkward, but he still explained, "It's for anti-inflammation and pain relief. It'll be good foryou. Of course, it has other uses. But I know that it's effective in treating surface wounds, so I'msure it'll work for you too."

Leah was stunned, and her face blushed bright red. "I'll apply it myself. Just pass it to me."

Leah lowered her head at the thought of him helping her with the ointment. She couldn't bringherself to look him in the eyes. Her face was starting to feel hotter and hotter.

Ernest looked down at her and smiled. "You'll hurt yourself if you do it. Normally, it would be fine. But right now, you're aching all over aren't you? Just let me do it for you!"

He didn't give Leah the chance to refuse. He took the ointment and went to wash the bottle and hishands. When he came back, he noticed that Leah's face was as red as a tomato. She didn't evendare to look at him.

Although they had already slept together, it was still a little humiliating to have him rub ointment onher wound in broad daylight.

Seeing him return, Leah held up the quilt and covered her face.

She was just trying to avoid it completely.

Ernest quickly said to her, "Okay, enough, there's no need to be shy. Hurry up and get ready. I'll dabit on for you. Do you need my help removing the obstacles?"

He was referring to her clothes.

"No need, no need, I can do it myself." Leah hurriedly shook her head, preparing to remove theclothes herself. But as soon as she tried to move, she felt the pain again. She couldn't help but gaspdeeply.

Ernest's eyes narrowed and he quickly stopped her. "Be good, and just let me do it."

Without a word, he helped Leah remove her clothes. His movements were domineering yet gentle.

Leah was so terrified that she was frozen stiff like a corpse. She didn't move a single muscle.

Ernest looked up at Leah again. By now, she had lowered down the quilt. She was lying on the bed, holding the quilt with her little hands. She was still too shy to look at Ernest. Her face was bright

pink, and she looked so adorable and beautiful at the same time.

When he saw this, Ernest could feel his heart fluttering.

Ernest lowered his head and looked at her wound. His eyes deepened as he blamed himself.Although he was very careful, he still managed to

injure Leah.

"Does it hurt a lot, Leah?"

"It's okay." Leah didn't look at him. She didn't want to admit to being weak, she couldn't allow herselfto stoop to that level.

Her bashful expression made Ernest suddenly have a reaction.

Ernest was stunned and secretly scolded himself. He hated himself for having such a reaction at atime like this.

Gazing at Leah's injuries, he recalled Leah's smell and grew even more tense.

He took a deep breath, dabbed some ointment gently on his fingers, and slowly applied it ontoLeah.

But the more he rubbed on her, the more intense his reaction was growing. On the other hand, Leahwas feeling very uncomfortable under his touch.

On several occasions, she secretly peeked at him and found that his eyes were too focused. Hewas entirely fixated on her body, not breaking his gaze at all.

He just stared at her with that soft and focused gaze.

This made Leah feel very shy. She really couldn't bear to look at him at all.

After a long time, Leah had to break the awkward tension. 'Are you done yet? Why does it feel likeit's been going on forever?"

Ernest suddenly withdrew his hand. He quickly got up and put his arms by her side. Then, helowered his head and pressed his handsome face against Leah's. His lips fell onto hers and hedelivered a hot kiss.

For a moment, Leah was trapped in his embrace. She could not move at all. His faint scent seemedto envelope her.

She was stunned.

Ernest seemed like too good a dream right now.

It was rare to see him lose control. Had he lost control? He had suddenly become so emotionally-driven. The warmth he had now was different from his past indifferent self.

He kissed Leah with all his strength, not giving her a single chance to retreat.

Her lips were a little swollen. He was looking at her breathlessly, and his body was reacting oddly.Leah was very surprised by his actions.

In her impression, he had always been so restrained. The only exception to that was from the nightbefore. However, it was obvious right now that his emotions had taken over him.

At the same time, his loss of control triggered a strong sense of desire in Leah.

Out of impulse, she reached out and grabbed onto his neck to stop him from leaving. Her tiny facewas flushed red. She was filled with desire, but also fear. All she could feel was her blood rushing to

a single spot.

After a while, Ernest finally let go of her. He looked down at the seductive woman in his arms andwhispered, "I'm sorry, I couldn't control myself."

He really wanted Leah, and he really couldn't think straight anymore.

But he still suppressed himself.

For a brief moment earlier, he really couldn't bear it, that was why he was so impetuous.

Eventually, his rationale returned to him. He took a deep breath and got ready to get up.

Seeing that he wanted to leave, Leah held his neck tightly and said in a low voice, "Ernest, don'tyou want me?"

Ernest was slightly shocked and panicked. He quickly said, "You are still injured. We can't actrecklessly now when you haven't recovered. Let's just wait another two days!"

"But if we wait two more days, my period will have come. Plus, you'll be heading back to England.Don't you want to cherish this rare time now?" Leah said boldly.

Ernest was a little annoyed. He felt like he had been too reckless earlier and forgot about theconsequences.

He was very moved by how much compassion Leah was showing him.

He lowered his head and looked at Leah. His eyes were burning with fire, but he was still able tosuppress himself. The veins on his forehead were protruding and his sweat was slowly seeping out.It was hard to imagine how much he was trying to keep in control.

Leah looked at him and said, "I feel much better after you applied the ointment. It doesn't hurt asmuch. Why don't you try again?"

How could Ernest withstand such a brazen temptation?

He growled at her, "Leah, this will hurt you."

"It doesn't matter. We have the ointment, don't we? I will apply more when the time comes. I can'tbear the thought of us having to be apart. I don't want to be separated from you, so I really don'twant the next two days to be spent in vain. Even if it hurts a little or a lot, I don't want to hold back. Iwant you, Ernest. Stop restraining yourself."

Leah expressed the primitive desire burning in her heart in a straightforward manner. Hertransparency and bravery made Ernest somewhat

emotional.

He lowered his head and kissed Leah. He was slowly starting to give in.

But, she was in so much pain. How could he bear to make things worse?

While he was busy struggling with himself, Leah couldn't stand it anymore. She reached out to tugroughly at Ernest's clothes.

Ernest inhaled sharply. He noticed her movements were strong. At that moment, he was scared ofhurting her so he didn't dare to stop her. All he could do was look at her with a complicated gaze.

"Leah, no, don't do this. I can't hurt you like this."

"It's more hurtful if you don't do it. This is a kind of love. I want to go all the way." Leah looked at himfirmly as she said this. Her eyes were slightly red but still firm.

Leah was really stubborn. Ernest looked at her helplessly, kissed her, and said, "Okay, let's tryagain. If you don't feel comfortable, just stop me immediately, okay?"

"It would be better if you just got on with it without saying so much. Sometimes, you're too much ofa gentleman, you know? And when you're like that, it makes me feel bad cause then I come off likea hooligan."

Leah and Ernest burst out into a fit of laughter.

Then, he pulled Leah into his arms and whispered comfortingly into her ear.

The two of them whispered sweet nothings to each other and they didn't stop there. In the end, theywent all the way.
