Chapter 1593

Ernest was flabbergasted. He looked at the girl, whose face was as crimson as blood, and shelooked at him like she was about to risk everything.

He was stunned and couldn't move.

He was engaged in a fierce mental battle.

Leah's body was out of control. It was difficult to contain the emptiness in her body because shecraved for Ernest.

Looking down at the man beneath her, she sighed once again at his sheer attractiveness.

She had a clear view of his handsome face. He looked remarkably calm, and his dark smoky eyeswere fixed onto her, like a brewing storm.

Leah felt inexplicably guilty and nervous under Ernest's gaze.

Because of the tension, Leah's forehead was covered in a sheen sweat. Even a small drop of sweatwas visible on the tip of her nose.

Each bead of sweat was crystal clear, showing her panic and confusion of the moment, as well asher reckless courage.

Her courage scared Ernest witless.

Ernest could only feel the softness in his heart.

Leah was being surveyed by him. Her breathing quickened involuntarily and her heart beat wildlyout of tempo.

However, Ernest didn't move at all. He stared at her with his deep eyes, as if he wanted to observeand see what she would do.

Since they both hoped for this, why not make it a reality?

If they made it happen, their relationship would be more secure.

However, although she was so enthusiastic and keen, she didn't know how to carry it out.

This was the deadliest position to be in.

Leah fumbled but maintained his enthusiasm. In the end, she was frustrated because she couldn'tpull it through.

Ernest felt pity for her when she stopped moving, so he gently said, "Leah, don't make a fuss."novelbin

"I'm not making a fuss." Leah immediately shook her head. "I'm serious, I'm not so good at this."

She was a little embarrassed as she spoke and dared not see Ernest's expression. She could onlyremain stiff as she felt like she was going insane. How could she proceed?

There was only one thought in her mind, which was to remove his clothes first, then take it slowlyfrom there.

In any case, if they were to get intimate right now, they would have to get rid of all obstacles.

She had worked so hard, she didn't want to believe that he didn't want to continue with this. Sheknew that it was easier for a man to lose control of his emotions instead of a girl.

"Leah." Ernest's tone was flipped when he saw that she was about to tear his clothes off. Hegasped and his voice carried various emotions. "You!"

"Shh!" Leah shook her head. She gestured a finger to lips and whispered, "Don't speak, you'll ruinthe vibe."

Ernest looked at the bright sun shining outside the window. It was a little jarring for something likethis to happen in the early morning.

He felt like it wasn't the right time yet.

Alas, Ernest restrained himself and said softly, "No, Leah, you're still too young."

He couldn't hurt Leah.

"I'm not young anymore." Leah protested, "What are you doing? I've worked so hard for this. Ernest, are you even a man?"

Being belittled, Ernest frowned and reinstated firmly, "I am a man, that's why I don't want to hurtyou. Leah, now's not the right time."

Upon hearing how serious he sounded, Leah felt even more dejected and uncomfortable. She didn'twant to respond.

She was in the middle of getting there and he dared to refuse her along with such a pompousreason. She gave it a second thought and realized she was the one who was desperate and makingherself dissatisfied.

She was indubitably dejected.

Leah instantly rolled over, mounting off his body and laid on her side, letting her back face him.

Alright then.

He was a modest gentleman, and she was a bad girl.

She didn't want to talk to Ernest anymore.

Seeing that she was angry, he hurriedly hunched over and whispered in her ear, "Leah?"

"I don't want to talk to you." Leah whispered back, "Don't talk to me. I'm mad now."

"Even when she's angry she's still so cute," Ernest thought to himself.

Ernest smiled in return. He couldn't help but speak up, "Alright, enough with being angry." "Don't dothis to me." Leah noticed that he had something to say, so she simply turned around to face him.

Ernest was surprised and his eyes darkened as he looked into Leah's eyes.

Leah stared at him and said with an expressionless face, "Ernest, I hate you, you know that? You'reacting like a modest gentleman, pure and humble, but now I'm stuck with the role of a shamelesswoman. This is so embarrassing. You're not letting this go. Don't tell me stuff like 'I don't want to hurtyou', these are all excuses. You just want to tell me I'm not charming enough, don't you? I get it, Ihave no charms, okay?"

Leah taunted him on purpose because he wanted to make fun of him. But of course, she wasn'tactually angry.

She couldn't find it within her to be angry at him.

Ernest didn't expect her to say all that. He looked at her in surprise and didn't know whether tolaugh or cry until he managed to reply, "That's not what I meant."

"What do you mean by that? You confessed to me, you kissed me, then you carried me into thebedroom. You grabbed and touched me, then you hugged and cuddled me over and over again. Butnow you're not admitting anything. Hmph, now I know you don't actually like me."

She looked at him and pouted with her small mouth as she spoke. Her expression looked like shewas utterly wronged.

Ernest looked straight at her, and there was a touch of helplessness and tenderness in his eyes. Hecouldn't bear it, and leaned in closer to Leah with his captivating face.

Leah was stunned and backed away instinctively.

Ernest kissed her again and said in a husky voice, "Don't downplay your charms. I want you, I reallydo."

"I don't believe you." She shook her head, feeling extremely flustered.

His voice was so raspy, it was intoxicating.

Ernest took her hand and trudged it down his body to a place where he could prove he wasn't lying.

Leah went stiff and stared at him blankly.

"I'm not lying to you," said a soft voice.

Leah looked into his eyes. His deep eyes were like black holes, directly absorbing all her thoughts.

Subconsciously, she wanted to retrieve her hands, but Ernest held onto her small hand tightly, disallowing her from taking it back.

She felt like her palm was burning, she didn't know what to do.

This was a brand new experience for Leah. She had never felt like this for a boy before.

Leah's face was now as red as a cloud of burning smoke. However, Ernest was only staring at her.His gaze was glued to her face, letting her thoughts cool down a little.

Ernest not only refused to let go, but also went in and kissed her again.

In the end, Leah was still unable to escape Ernest's entangling kiss.

His hand was still clutching Leah's. With such strength, she was dazed and shy. She could onlyendure it all being at the expense of his actions.

When he finally released her, Leah blinked and said with a pout, "You're about to explode, aren'tyou?"

Ernest looked at her powerlessly. She continued teasing him for her own satisfaction.

He sighed and reached out to pinch her cheeks. He said, "It's fine as long as you're aware of it."

After that, he let her go and got out of bed.

Leah's face was boiling hot and she felt very embarrassed.

In the end, they never crossed the line.

However, Leah knew Ernest was a man she could entrust her life to. He was a wonderful andresponsible man.

Breathing in, Leah came down quickly. None of them spoke. Their relationship changed, and themoment they became a couple, something in the atmosphere shifted.

Leah felt like there was a hint of gentleness in the between them.

Even the air tasted sweet.

Leah subconsciously hummed a tune.

Seeing that she was in a good mood, he felt pleased. However, after confessing, his mind wassupplying him with potential problems.

He had to leave the country for three years and had to spend at least two and a half years inEngland.

Would Leah be okay being such a long distance away from him?

He finally spoke up, "Leah, let's talk."

"Talk about what?" Leah was confused. She looked at him and said, "Go on."

Seeing how serious Ernest was, Leah matched his energy, feeling like he was about to bring up animportant matter.

"Here's the thing. We're a couple now."

"Yeah." Leah nodded. "A fresh couple."

"But we'll be separated soon." Ernest couldn't help but worry. "I'll be leaving for a few months."

"I know." Leah thought about what he might be thinking of, but she didn't expect it to be about this."Are you worried that I'll be lonely after you leave?"

"Don't say it like that. I'm worried that it'll be difficult for you all by yourself." He cared and wasconcerned for her.

"It's okay, I'm fine. I've been living a good life all these years. If you're scared that Hogan mightcome back, I don't think you'll need to worry. I won't open the door in the future." She promised,"Don't worry, now that I'm your girlfriend, I'll be responsible for you as well myself, so I'll do my bestto protect my own safety."

Ernest felt like Leah really was a keen girl. She knew everything and could pinpoint the center of hisworries.

They worked in tandem with each other, and the degree of tacit understanding between themsurprised him.

Looking at Leah, he smiled. "Good girl."

"What about you?" Leah looked at him and asked with a smile.

"I'll be responsible for you too," he said seriously. "I won't mess around with anyone."

"That's more like it," Leah smiled. "But it doesn't matter. It's fine if you're messing around, but youhave to tell me if you do. I don't like being kept in the dark." "I won't." He promised earnestly.

Leah nodded and smiled. "Yes, I can see that you won't. Your eyes look very sincere, but I'mworried you'll be wooed by others because you're too attractive. Tell me, are there many girls whoare after you?"

Ernest laughed and nodded.

There were girls from all over the world in his university who would kill for a chance to be with him,but no one ever really caught his eye.

He never expected Leah to be the one to shatter his expectations.

However, everything seemed to have settled. After he confessed, he was washed over with a waveof relief.

He felt everything quiet down. There was no more worrying about his losses, and no more randomspeculations.

This was a good thing for both him and Leah.

"I'll tell you a secret," Leah said mysteriously all of a sudden.
