Chapter 1408

"I'm just grabbing the paper towel," Gary's voice rang softly in Celeste's ear, "You placed them onthe bed."

Oh, so that was the case.

As expected, he reached out and grabbed a paper towel. He placed one hand on her right andlowered his head to look at Celeste.

Celeste looked at his stern and determined handsome face with her big eyes.

Gary admitted that he was genuinely just grabbing a paper towel because it was placed in aninconvenient spot. He was afraid that he would hurt Celeste, so he could only reach out in such away to take it.

However, he didn't expect his actions to change the atmosphere.

Her frightened expression was reflected in his eyes, and her cheeks were pink like blossoms inspring.

Her long eyelashes were trembling slightly, which made her look frail..

When he touched her, Gary couldn't bear it anymore. He just wanted to hold her in his arms foreverand never let anyone see her again.

He lowered his head slightly and stroked her face gently.

Celeste did not dare to speak.

She smelled the faint aroma of the medication on his slender fingers. She felt that the smell wasabout to seep into her pores and make her senses explode.

Gary's deep eyes were locked onto Celeste's, not missing a single change of her expression.

She forgot to breathe.

Then, Celeste's face turned even redder.

Gary lowered his head even further. As he exhaled, his breath landed on Celeste's face. He noticedthat she had not taken a breath.

He couldn't help grinning, "If you don't breathe, do you want me to end up doing CPR for you?"

Meanwhile, Celeste's mind was in a state of chaos.

She was completely confused.

She didn't know what he was talking about.

That was because she was suffering the whole time. Every inch of her soul felt like it was no longerhers.

Celeste had long lost her sense of reason. After more than half an hour of torture, she had longbeen hollowed out. She was still holding her breath even then.

"Open your mouth," Gary's finger traced the outline of her lips as he muttered, "If you don't openyour mouth to take in some air, you'll faint."

Gary saw that her face had grown even redder. It was definitely not just a blush. The redness wascaused by her lack of oxygen.

However, his hand was still stroking her chin and lips.

There was only one thought in Celeste's mind. Gary actually touched her chin with his finger thathad been stained with the medication, and he did it on purpose.

Just when she thought she was about to suffocate, everything went black in front of her eyes andthere was a hot sensation on her lips. She felt air entering her body. In an instant, her mind feltclearer and she was able to think.

She took in a deep breath subconsciously. She breathed in with all her might, sucking in oxygen.

Alas, the oxygen given was insufficient.

She could only take large mouthfuls of it.

Gary's eyes were sharp. He held her tightly, giving her more oxygen.

It was not until a long time later when Celeste came back to her senses and realized how awkwardit was.

She had actually wrapped her arms around Gary's neck and her legs were wrapped around Gary'swaist. When she realized it, there was a moment of silence hanging between them.

She immediately withdrew her hand and curled back her feet.

However, Gary stopped her.

He lowered his voice to ask her, "What should I do? I'm saving you, but you try to take me instead."His tone was deep and low, and his dark eyes were filled with a faint smile and a tint ofselfconfidence.

It was as if the confident and egotistical Gary had returned.

He was no longer despondent.

Celeste was embarrassed that she didn't know what to say. She could only watch as her emotionsslowly revealed themselves, which made her feel so embarrassed.

She threw caution to the wind and withdrew her legs.

Nevertheless, Gary still put them back to their original position with a cold smirk, "It was you whostarted it."

Celeste retorted, "I didn't. You were the one who seduced me."

Hahaha.

She was quite honest.

He admitted that he indeed tried to do that.

It seemed that he needed to adjust his thought process. If he didn't come up with a plan, thisadorable woman would slip away from his fingers.

Of course, Gary wouldn't allow that to happen.

As he looked at Celeste, his icy gaze became absolutely bewitching. With a slight smile, he loweredhis head and kissed her once again.

Celeste was shocked. She reached out and tried to push him away.

"Don't move. I feel dizzy," He suddenly said.

Celeste paused for a moment, only to hear Gary continue, "You just sucked all my oxygen away. I'mdizzy now, so it's your turn to save me."

A low voice rang in her ear, and warm breathing appeared at the corner of her lips. Celeste felt as ifsomething had exploded in her mind and snatched away all shred of rationale she had. By the timeshe had woken up, Gary had already deepened the kiss with her.

Her heart was beating wildly, as if she had a heart attack. It thumped loudly against her chest.

What was even more embarrassing was that she could not find any strength to push him away.

A long time passed.

She felt a pain in her lower abdomen, which made her frown.

Gary immediately sensed it. He looked at her and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I-1..." Celeste blushed and stuttered softly, "I think my menstruation period has come."

Judging by her calculations, it was almost the time of the month.

Gary was startled. He lowered his head and looked over. A regretful expression flashed across hishandsome face as he softly said, "It is indeed your period."

Celeste stood up and ran to the bathroom.

She looked embarrassed.

She felt that she had been blinded by something. She was so close to him that she almost didsomething that could only be done between lovers.

What the hell was she doing?

Gary watched Celeste as she left. Something flashed across his eyes. He then put away themedicine, straightened out the bed sheets and sat down quietly.

Celeste stayed in the bathroom for about three minutes before she came out.

The atmosphere was even more awkward between them.

After the quarrel, the breakup and the lack of oxygen, she had a complicated feeling now.

Celeste took a glance at Gary.

He was calm. When she came out and did not dare to look at him, he was still quite composed ashe looked at Celeste.

This time, Gary was still rational.

He got up and went to the bathroom.

He stayed in the bathroom for about ten minutes.

Celeste didn't know what he was doing. Suddenly, she heard a muffled groan from the bathroom. She was startled and thought that something was wrong with him. She quickly ran over and shoutedanxiously at the door, "Gary, what's wrong?"

There was no sound coming from inside.

Celeste didn't understand and didn't know if something had happened to him. The groan soundedabnormal.

She immediately pushed the door open.

The scene in front of her stunned her.

Gary was leaning against the sink with a hand full of paper towels.

She immediately turned away as the scene was too obscene for her, stammering, "Ho-how couldyou do this?"

Gary was embarrassed as well. He glanced at her with narrowed eyes and said, "What else can Ido? Can you help me?"novelbin

Celeste's face turned even redder, "I thought you fell in the bathroom. Who knows what happenedwhen you didn't respond at all?"

Gary casually threw the tissue into the toilet bowl and washed his hands.

His hand looked like it belonged to a model's. It was very slender, with distinct joints and bonyfingers.

He slowly ran his hands under the tap water, washing them thoroughly.

Celeste stood in silence. Seeing him wash his hands just like that made her forget to leave.

It wasn't until Gary turned and looked at her that Celeste realized that she seemed to have forgottensomething.

She left quickly and went back to the bed. She didn't know if it was because she had been torturedby him so much that she couldn't feel the pain at the moment.

When her menstruation came, she heaved a sigh of relief.

It seemed that her previous calculations were right. Previously, when they were together, he tookmeasures to ensure that she was not pregnant. Thank God forthat.

By the time Gary came out, everything had returned to normal.

Celeste glanced at him and noticed that there was still a little bit of redness on his face. It wasprobably because he had been inside for a long time that his face had turned red.

She was embarrassed to see such a scene.

She couldn't help but curl her lips. She really didn't know how he got along with her in the past. Hewas at an age when he was the most impulsive. Without a girlfriend to live together, did he alwaysdo this all the time?

Would he not be able to hold himself back even after returning to Boston?

The more Celeste thought about it, the more annoyed she became. Why was she thinking aboutthis?

This was Gary's problem. No matter what, it was his own business. It had nothing to do with heranymore.

"Yes, it doesn't matter now." She mused.

However, when she thought that it was not a big deal, her heart grew heavy.

Gary went to open the takeaway boxes and said to Celeste, "Come over and eat."

Celeste did not move. It was as if she was immersed in her own world.

Gary frowned and walked over. He crouched down and looked at Celeste.

She was startled by his sudden approach. Turning her head sideways to look at him, she asked,"What's the matter?"

Gary's handsome face was right in front of her. She could even see his smooth skin clearly. Hispores were very fine and his long lashes were thick. They were as long as a small brush, and even

more beautiful than a woman's.

She suddenly shifted her eyes away and did not dare to look at him anymore.

"I said it was time to eat. Didn't you hear me?" Gary straightened his body slightly and said in a gruffand hoarse voice, "Why do you always get distracted?"
