Chapter 1323

Gary had always known that Ernest was smart and wise. Without any concrete evidence, he wasable to deduce that Gary was the one who sent the email. It was really impressive.

Fortunately, Ernest was his younger brother. If it were someone else, he would probably have ahard time trying to explain to them.

"Ernest, there is no evidence. Don't simply accuse me."

However, Gary did not intend to admit it.

Ernest also smiled lightly and answered, "What? Are you afraid that I will tell Celeste?"

Gary didn't sound anxious at all. On the contrary, he chuckled lightly at his younger brother's words,"Ernest, since I can no longer keep you in the dark, then shouldn't you cooperate with me?"

"Gary, you definitely would think so," Ernest also smiled back.

"Shouldn't you cooperate?" Gary asked, "Mom told me yesterday that Celeste is going to be ouryounger sister. Shouldn't siblings look after each other?"

"Mom told you already?" Ernest was a little surprised, "Oh, I see."

"The crucial thing here is that mom is adamant on being Celeste's guardian," Gary brought it upagain.

"I know. I will cooperate with you. I won't say a word about this," Ernest said over the phone, "I justfind it odd. What did you send in that email to actually make her barge into our house in themorning? She even thought that dad was the one who sent the email to her."

"She actually kicked up a fuss over at your place?" Gary's tone instantly turned livid.

Through the phone, Ernest could feel his brother's anger and rage at the moment.

"She didn't just kick up a fuss, she was also very arrogant too. Though, dad was not being politewith her either," Ernest informed him.

"If Heinz was polite, then he isn't worthy of being a man," Gary did not mince his words. In fact, hewas still very disapproving of Heinz.

"So, Celeste overheard a lot of things," Ernest once again told him, "She is not in a good mood, andshe is still worried about her aunt."

Gary fell silent.

Ernest smirked slightly and didn't continue.

In fact, he knew that Gary knew that it was very easy to deal with Cindy. However, it was hard to notdrag Celeste into this, or stop her from worrying about Cindy.

After all, Celeste had been raised by Cindy for so many years. Through all these years, she hadsupported Celeste financially even if Cindy didn't put in much effort in raising her.

In addition, Celeste was someone who cared about others a lot. If anything were to happen toCindy, it was only normal for Celeste to be worried for her aunt.

Ernest believed that his brother was aware of this.

"This is something she must face," Gary was stubborn, "However, if I don't threaten her with thatemail, it wouldn't have been that easy for Cindy to hand over being Celeste's guardian."

"She has already handed it over," Ernest did not hide anything from him, "They will sign the officialdocuments by today, and dad said that he will hand her the files by today."

"Is that so?" Gary did not expect Cindy to agree so quickly.

Meanwhile, Ernest stood by the window and looked outside.

Just then, two cars drove past the road in front of the villa and seemed to be heading next door.

Ernest walked out to the balcony and saw that the two cars were parked in front of Cindy's villa.

Then, a woman came out of one of the cars. She looked like she was in her fifties. She was a littlechubby, but she had an oppressive aura.

Ernest stared at the people heading into the villa as he spoke indifferently into the phone.

"Cindy's agent should be the famous Monica Wilbur. She just went into Cindy's villa with severalpeople behind her. I think they may investigate the email's whereabouts, so you'd better be careful."

"They won't be able to find anything," Gary was confident, "I've already set up a trap, so don'tworry."novelbin

"Good," Ernest still reminded him, "Gary, don't be careless. After all, there is always someone betterthan you."

"Don't worry," Gary assured him, "If she does actually find me, the information I possess is enoughto shut them up."

Ernest understood. It seemed that Gary was well prepared.

"Nice, I'm relieved. That's all for now. I'll go check on Celeste."

Gary did not know whether it was intentional or not, but he felt that these words were specificallymeant for him.

Just like that, the phone was hung up.

Gary raised his eyebrows and tightened his grip on the phone.

It seemed that it was indeed advantageous for Ernest if he and Celeste were living together.

On the other hand, Ernest didn't go to check on Celeste. He walked out of the house with a smalldrone and went to the roof.

The villa's roof had been designed into a small greenhouse. It was complete with a small patch oflawn as well as a beautiful lounge chair.

Ernest sat on the lounge chair, leaning back slightly. He looked lazy.

He put the drone on the floor. After pressing a few buttons on the control, the drone took off.

Since it was tiny, it made very little noise. The drone flew straight to Cindy's compound withoutanyone noticing.

After he had found the perfect angle, Ernest tapped into his phone and paired it to the drone. Justlike that, he could see everything that was going on in Cindy's house.

As of that moment, there were several people seated in her living room. One of them was theassistant who had just come to their house, and there were another two men and two women. Itwas a crowd, but Monica and Cindy were nowhere to be seen.

Ernest frowned slightly. He was thinking about the email. No matter what the contents were, it wouldbe scandalous to Cindy.

Therefore, they absolutely couldn't let the media know about it.

Monica and Cindy should be talking about this in private.

He controlled the drone towards the second floor. On the footage, Cindy looked haggard, andMonica was shocked.

"Cindy, we have been working together for so many years. I'm certain you know my temper. Didn't Itell you that I don't care about your private life? As long as you don't let it affect your work, ourinterests will be aligned," Monica was solemn, "You shouldn't have done this with Mr. Holland."

Cindy pursed her lips and did not say anything.

Monica sighed and continued, "Forget it. It's not the time to get upset about this. You have your owndifficulties. You're too old to pick up new roles, so that's probably why you seduced Mr. Holland.""Monica, I'm really in trouble this time," Cindy said, her eyes red-rimmed, "I hadn't been able to finda new role for two whole years because of my age. I had no other choice."

"I understand," Monica said, "Show me the email."

Cindy hesitated for a moment before nodding. She opened the phone and scrolled through heremail.

Just as she was about to tap into the email, a notification was heard.

She was stunned to receive yet another email and opened it.

This time, a video file was attached. Cindy couldn't help but click on it.

Almost immediately, intimate sounds could be heard from the video.

Cindy was dumbfounded. Her entire face was red.

Monica looked over and gasped in surprise, "Didn't you say there were only photos? Why is there avideo now?"
