"Mr. Attwood, you are wrong. Only those who are related by blood are obliged to do so. From amoral standpoint, I am probably supposed to do so. "Then you are supposed to do so from a moral standpoint," Benjamin gritted his teeth and insisted"Regardless, you are my son-in-law and I am your father-in-law."
Zachary was silent, but he looked at Benjamin, anticipating the nonsense that Benjamin was goingto say.
Meanwhile, Benjamin frowned and glanced at Zachary. He couldn't help but say, "Since the both ofyou have gotten your marriage certificate, it's official."
"So?" Zachary continued, "What are you trying to say?"
Benjamin was direct, "You guys got married, but you didn't even notify us. This is the fault on yourpart."
Zachary nodded and answered, "Yes, according to the customs, we are at fault."
A smirk appeared on Benjamin's face when he heard that. He felt very pleased and grinned, "Nomatter what, the groom should give the bride's family some betrothal gift."
Zachary nodded and agreed to him, "Indeed, according to the Southland customs, there are suchrequirements."
Benjamin then laughed, "Since that's the case, you owe me a check. It's not easy for me to raiseYvonne. You can also save yourself humiliation by giving us the betrothal gift as well. By doing this,you are also doing yourself a favor."

Yvonne was speechless.
