Chapter 1119

Heinz was on the verge of breaking down when he heard this.

“How can | still bother about this? The most important thing is that she delivers the babies safely. | am a man, so how would | bescared of such things?" He disagreed with Alice's words very much.

She looked at him and said, "Grace didn't even allow me to go in. She said that | have not given birth yet and if | was to see hergive birth, | might not want a child ever. Back then, | heard that Aunt Nerissa and Grace said that delivering a child was like goingthrough the gates of hell."

"Women have always discussed whether men should accompany them through the process of delivering but Grace, AuntNerissa, and Hermione strongly opposed the thought. Thus, we decided to not involve any men in this."

"I'm the child's father. Isn't it right for me to accompany her through the process?"

“But Heinz, what can you help her with? Can you help Grace deliver the baby? Moreover, it would be a bloody scene." Alice fellsilent for a moment when she too realized how scary natural birth was.

Grace's babies were the right size and weight, hence she did not want to have a C-section.

She opted for natural birth because she wanted to use her own strength to push the babies out. She figured that with theadvancement of technologies, even if she wasn't able to deliver them naturally, she could still choose to have a C-section.

More importantly, a natural birth was safer for both the mother and the babies.

Outside the delivery room, Heinz was sweating profusely. Could Grace deliver the babies safely? He paced back and forth outside the delivery room. He was bathed in sweat from head to toe.Outside the delivery room, three midwives were waiting for Grace to finish her delivery.

Seeing how Heinz was reacting, one of them advised, "Mr. Jones, don't worry. It's not her first time. She has experience and wehave arranged for the best doctors. She is definitely going to have a smooth delivery."

“Of course it's going to be a smooth delivery," Heinz turned his head and glanced at the midwife. "If it is not a smooth deliverythen why would | hire the doctors?"

"Mr. Jones." The midwife dared not say anything else.novelbin

"Don't bother about him," Alice said to her. "Heinz is going through some emotional stress. He's going to ridicule whoever hesees. We should understand how stressed he is due to this being the first time he's waiting outside the delivery room. He was.also quite unfortunate since he missed Ernest and Little Gary's delivery. Thus, it's understandable for him to be so nervous.Everyone please do not get mad at him for this."

Heinz probably also realized his problem, so he turned and walked to the other side, and waited quietly.Meanwhile, Grace's cries could be heard from the delivery room.

"Ahh!"

She restrained herself from shouting too loudly.

However, Heinz had heard her cries and his heart skipped a beat. He immediately asked nervously, "What's going on? Why isshe shouting like this?"

Everyone looked at him, and no one dared to speak. They were afraid that if they spoke wrongly, they would be scolded.

Meanwhile, Timothy also received news about Grace's delivery so he rushed over. When he saw everyone, he immediatelyasked, "How is it? Have the babies been delivered yet?"

"No," Alice shook her head. "Grace's water broke and she was sent in. After we came, she was sent into the delivery room andthe doctor said that it will be quick, but there is still no news until now."

Timothy's forehead was also drenched in sweat, but he still comforted Heinz, "Heinz, don't worry. It won't be that fast. It'll take afew hours no matter how fast it is."

"So long?" Heinz suddenly became even more nervous, "How could it be so long?"

“Most of the time, the whole process from being about to deliver to successfully delivering a baby takes two to three days. Afterthe water breaks, it's best to deliver in twenty-four hours. In Grace's case, it's already considered efficient now that she's alreadysent into the delivery room. It might be because she is having twins," Timothy explained.

Heinz stared at him with admiration, "How do you know all this?"

Timothy looked embarrassed and said, "| experienced it when Quinn gave birth to the children, but it was a pity that | did not getto experience Grace's birth."

Needless to say, Heinz understood what he was saying.

No one spoke for a moment.

Suddenly, another piercing shout echoed from the delivery room. It seemed that Grace was at the peak of the delivery process. The longer the time ticked by, the more Heinz felt that he was suffering.

It had been three hours since Grace entered the delivery room. His heart had reached its limit in patience. He was sweatingprofusely and his clothes were drenched with sweat.

He looked as if he was the one in pain instead of her.

Every time she cried, he would be so nervous that he clenched his fists.

It made others feel helpless when they saw him like that.

Alice rolled her eyes, "Heinz, why don't you go in with them? You might not be that nervous if you follow them in.""I'm going in!" Heinz suddenly shouted, "Someone, doctor. | want to go in!"

He went slightly mad all of a sudden. The nurse inside had no choice but to let him get changed and let him in.Moments later, the sound of a baby crying could

be heard.

"The babies have been delivered!" Alice shouted.

The nurse came out to report the good news, "The first one is a boy, six and a half pounds. He is looking great.”Timothy and Alice both breathed a sigh of relief.

Fifteen minutes later, they heard another cry again.

"The second one, a girl, six pounds two ounces. Everything is in good condition."

"Girl!" Alice exclaimed, "My sister gave birth to a boy and a girl!"

"That's great!" Timothy also cried with joy. He sat on the lounge chair all of a sudden, covering his face with his hands. Throughthe gap of his fingers, streams of tears were seen trickling down his face.

"Where's Grace? How's the mother?" Alice asked hurriedly.

"She is also doing fine."

"When can she come out?"

“It won't take long." After the nurse finished speaking, she smiled at her.

Alice didn’t understand the nurse's meaning but after several minutes, a bed was pushed out.

She immediately rushed over and shouted, "Grace, Heinz!"

No one had expected that the person who was pushed out was Heinz instead of Grace.

Alice was dumbfounded. She saw Heinz lying on the bed. His face was pale and his eyes were closed, as if he had fainted."What happened? What happened to Heinz?"

The nurse also smirked and said, "Let's push Mr. Jones into the room and let him have some rest."After a while, Grace was pushed out.

Alice stared at her and said, "Grace, a

Grace was amused. She nodded gently and said,

“Alice, take care of the children. Heinz is useless and passed out. I'm so sleepy and want to rest.""You can rest assured," Alice said. "| will take good care of them."

She knew that her sister was afraid of losing the children. She was still scarred by the past.

She was very regretful that she was too young to protect her sister previously. This time, she would protect her sister no matterwhat.

And indeed, the youngest daughter of the Jones family was pampered.

Grace and Heinz lived happily ever after. Everything was perfect and they had a beautiful family together.
