The police told her it was not a big deal. “The wife of the CEO of Jardin Corporation got kidnappedwhile she was out. If you know anything, it’s best to report it immediately.”
“Oh. Sure.” When the hotel’s landlady left the police station, she hurried back home, wasted no timepacking her stuff, and prepared to leave. She had no idea the lady she hosted had such

After hitting a dead end with the clues, the police began investigating all the vehicles leaving that road.As night fell, an old and grungy place was revealed beneath the glamorous facade.
“Don’t touch me!” Someone took Madelyn into a car. “Where are you taking me?”
Two guys beside her tied her up, and their hands wandered all over her. “You’re lucky. A big shot inMarisburg has taken an interest in you. We’re taking you to meet him. You’d better not pull any stuntswhen we get there. Listen. If you offend him, I won’t be able to protect you.”
“Alright, you two behave and don’t ruin her clothes.” With that from Laura, the two guys by Madelyn’sside stopped their actions.
The car arrived at a place at seven o’clock after driving for one and a half hours. A suited managergreedily eyed Madelyn. Then, he took her into an elevator and went to the basement. In a small room,she was strapped to a machine inexplicably with her limbs and neck restrained.
“According to the rules, bring her up on stage when the time comes. The commission will still follow theusual rate.”
Madelyn probably caught on that Laura intended to sell her here. After Laura left, she was taken to aplace filled with women dressed extravagantly. The door closed in the next second.
Madelyn noticed many people here looked better than her. They had sexy figures, were wearing longskirts, and were applying makeup in front of the mirrors. She even spotted a few younger girls cryingsadly in the corner and wearing strange accessories like her.
In this unfamiliar environment, Madelyn had no idea what was going on. Compared to the flustered andsorrowful individuals, she remained relatively composed. The curtain was pulled aside, revealing an all-dolled-up woman adorned in high heels, an expensivepearl necklace, and long lace gloves. Her face looked innocent and youthful. “So you’re the newcomer?What did you do for a living before?”
She circled Madelyn, ending up in front of her with her arms crossed. Madelyn sensed a hint of hostilityin her eyes. One of the others gave Madelyn a shove. “Ms. Garcia’s talking to you!”
