Kennedy returned with two cups of bubble tea, one for Mya and one for Madelyn. “I bought themrandomly. Give it a try.” Madelyn said, “Thank you. Is this bubble tea? I’ve never had it before.”
Mya asked curiously, “You’ve never had it? Madelyn, how is that possible? You can find this bubble teaeverywhere. Try it, it’s delicious! I drink several cups a day. Here, let me open it for you.” She inserted astraw into the bubble teacup and handed it to Madelyn.
Madelyn explained, “Actually, I rarely go out. My father never allowed me to eat street food. It’s mysecond time eating it.”
Lem exclaimed, “Wow! Your life sounds incredibly dull. Don’t worry. We’ll have plenty of opportunities inthe future. It depends on whether your fiance allows you to go out. Am I right, Ken?”
Lem nudged Kennedy with his elbow. Then, Kennedy reacted, “Yes.”
Mya sipped her bubble tea contentedly, enjoying every moment. “Let’s consider today an earlycelebration of Madelyn’s success in getting into her dream university. Cheers!”
Mya raised her bubble tea. “Madelyn, I’ll use this bubble tea as a toast to congratulate you for passingyour entrance exam. In the future, you’ll be the greatest artist, and I want to become the owner ofhundreds of bubble tea shops. I want everyone to taste the bubble tea I make.”
Madelyn raised her bubble tea and clinked it against Mya’s. “I wish you all the best and success inachieving your goals.”
Kennedy raised his beer and joined, “Let’s work hard together.”
Lem added, “There’s a bright future ahead of us. Let’s meet at Ventropolis University.”
