Chapter 1203

Chapter 1203

Blake, drifting in and out of consciousness, felt a warm hand holding hers. When she finally opened her

eyes, the blurred figure of a man

hovered over her, his features indistinct.

As Blake was rushed into the emergency room, Olivia stood beside Liam, who appeared visibly pale

and concerned. Olivia said, “Don’t worry, she’ll be okay. Liam, you don’t look so good. Are you alright?”

Liam, clutching his stomach and leaning against a wall, suddenly

collapsed.

“Liam!” Olivia exclaimed in alarm.

In a lawless region of Northern Myanmar, Kevin found himself in a

familiar location.

“Kevin, news from Ventropolis. Blake is safe and has been taken to

the hospital,” one of his men reported, showing him a photo.

Kevin glanced at the photo and, while wiping a cold steel dagger,

ordered, “These are no longer needed here. Dispose of them.”

“Right away.” one of Kevin’s men responded.

The setting sun cast a golden glow over the reed-filled pond and stilt

houses, creating a picturesque yet dangerously deceptive scene. The

area, known for its tranquility and beauty, also harbored unseen

threats. Kevin had always known he could not offer Blake a stable

life. Choosing Liam seemed to be her destiny.

Three days later, Blake awoke to find Liam watching over her with

concern. “You’re awake? I’ll get the doctor.”

The doctor confirmed that she was out of danger. Overwhelmed by her ordeal, Blake cried silently,

inconsolable.

“It’s okay, you’re safe now. No one will ever hurt you again,” Liam reassured her, but Blake cried herself

back to sleep.

Liam realized he could not involve the police yet. He needed to fully understand the situation to seek

justice for Blake.

Back at Jardin Corporation, Susan brought a confidential document to Cecilia. “Ms. Samford, someone

insisted this be delivered directly

to you.”

Cecilia, still frustrated that her plans for Blake had been thwarted,

dismissed Susan and opened the document. To her surprise, it

contained details about Blake’s adoption procedures, including a

photo of a six-year-old Blake.

“That’s…my sister!”novelbin
