“Jared, this is a hellhound. No one can escape from its jaws,” Brad declared frostily. “Ha! This entitymade of negative energy hardly deserves to be called a hellhound. It’s quite amusing that you wouldeven attempt to claim. such a title,” Jared retorted, his confidence unshaken.novelbin

“You have a death wish!” Brad immediately. commanded the hellhound to attack Jared. The hellhound letout a roar, and frosty energy emanated from its body to freeze the surrounding air. A thick layer of frostemerged around Jared, trapping him within.

This time, the frost was stronger than the one Brad created earlier. As Santiago and Hailey observed theunfolding situation, their concern for Jared intensified. They had underestimated Brad’s abilities and werecaught off guard by his unexpected maneuver.

As Brad rode on the back of the hellhound, closing in on the immobile Jared, a sharp cry echoed throughthe sky, piercing the tense atmosphere.

A blazing phoenix appeared above Jared’s head, its huge body shielding Jared from danger. As thephoenix flapped its wings, the frosty energy, along with the frost covering Jared’s body, disappeared inan instant.
