Claus’ body was sent flying backward before crashing heavily onto the ground. “My son!” Shocked, Bradquickly went after him.
Santiago stared at Jared in astonishment, his eyes widening in disbelief. He had no inkling that Jaredhad attained such extraordinary strength. Though Claus was not the most formidable young martialartist, he still possessed considerable skill. Yet, Jared effortlessly sent him hurtling through the air withouteven bothering to direct his gaze toward him. It was a clear testament to Jared’s exceptional prowess.
Hailey gazed at Jared, clearly besotted with him. Oh, Jared is so hot! “My son! Oh, my son! I will killeveryone here!” Brad’s anguished cry reverberated throughout the area. The sheer intensity of his aurawas so overwhelming that it caused the nearby houses to tremble and shake.
Santiago and the others rushed outside, only to be greeted by a harrowing sight. Claus lay motionless onthe ground, his lifeless body covered in blood as his eyes stared blankly into the distance. Santiagocould barely hide his shock. Did Jared kill Claus with a mere kick?
“Jared, I’ll rip you into pieces! I swear I will!” Brad hollered as a terrifying aura emanated from his body.Slowly, a black mark appeared in the middle of Brad’s forehead. The entire sky turned dark as black mistfilled the sky.
Brad’s clothes were ripped apart as a purple robe emerged on his body. His face became blurry as ablack mist descended on his head. “A purple-robed emissary?” Jared’s lips curved when he noticedBrad’s outfit. “Perfect. Today, I shall settle the long-standing grudge between me and the Evil Heart Sectonce and for all.”
“Jared, don’t be arrogant. You’re only alive at the moment because the Spiritual Energy RestorationFormation needs you. Once the formation is activated, and your divine soul is used as sacrifice, you’llsuffer a fate worse than death.”
Brad glared at Jared coldly, his entire being shrouded in the black mist, looking like a devil. “SpiritualEnergy Restoration Formation?” Jared was confused, not knowing what he meant by that formation.
Right then, Santiago explained, “The Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation has been in existence for aconsiderable period. It was initially established by the leader of the Divine Quest Sect. However, beforeits activation, the entire Divine Quest Sect was mysteriously annihilated. The activation of this formationrequires the participation of eight individuals with unique constitutions, combined with a uniqueincantation. I am unsure why the Evil Heart Sect possesses the capability to activate this formation.”
As Santiago’s words sank in, Jared’s mind quickly connected the dots and recalled the events thatunfolded in the Divine Quest Sect’s secret realm. Josephine and the others were trapped there with afew individuals possessing unique constitutions. It suddenly dawned on Jared why the Evil Heart Sectwas so desperate to capture them all.
Furthermore, Jared himself possessed a unique constitution, making him a valuable target. Thememories of the stone statues within the cave of the secret realm resurfaced, and Jared instinctivelyknew that those statues must be related to the activation of the formation.
“It turns out that the Evil Heart Sect has been behind this elaborate scheme all along. They want toconquer the entire mundane world,” Jared said slowly.novelbin
“Ha! That isn’t it. Our goal isn’t just to conquer the mundane world,” Brad revealed with an icy snort. “Nomatter what goal you have in mind, it won’t succeed. Today will be the day you meet your doom,” Jareddeclared.
He slowly began to unleash his aura. However, Jared’s aura wasn’t as strong as Brad’s. “I can’t believeyou have the audacity to challenge me,” Brad sneered.
He reached into the air, and the black mist turned into a hammer in his hand! The hammer gave off achilly vibe, seemingly able to freeze the air surrounding it.
