Chapter 2348

Wrey stepped forward and urged Yona, “Stop wasting your breath on him. Leave that brat to me. I’ll killhim myself.” Jared looked at Wrey and sneered, “Ignorant fool. Since you firmly believe I killed yourson, there’s nothing more I can say. Still, you’re quite accomplished to have raised such an effeminateson.”

Jared’s remark instantly hit Wrey’s sore spot. His son’s personality was his lifelong regret and thesubject of much ridicule, discussed by others behind his back.

Wrey was about to explode from anger as he listened to Jared humiliating him in public at that moment.“I’ll tear you to pieces today!” Wrey’s terrifying aura burst forth as his eyes turned red from his rage.

“Why don’t you give it a try?” Jared suddenly let out a strange growl from his mouth. The noise wassimilar to an animal’s, but, at the same time, not quite. The deep reverberation was carried far into thenight.

Jared’s abrupt and peculiar behavior caused everyone to fall into a daze. They were baffled by what hewas doing. Wrey frowned at Jared. “Why are you making that noise?”

Jared ignored him. The noise he emitted grew louder, and as the sound echoed, a ball of golden lightrose from his forehead. The night was lit up as if it were day, and that ball of golden light gave off anintense demon beast aura.novelbin

The aura rapidly spread outward, covering a distance of dozens of miles in an instant. Everyone wasstunned as they watched the golden light rising slowly atop Jared.

Just then, the ground began to tremble violently as if an earthquake had erupted. The shaking causedsome to stagger. Immediately afterward, a thunderous rumble rang out, seemingly originating from thehorizon and moving closer in the group’s direction.

Only when the commotion arrived before them. did everyone see a dense group of demon. beastsroaring and charging at them. All kinds of demon beasts were rushing forward frantically. Everyone wasscared out of their wits at that sight. They had never witnessed such a scene before.

Roar! A giant lion roared, and all the other demon beasts followed suit. At that moment, some of themore timid people began to turn and run. In the face of so many demon beasts, there were those whocaved ultimately.

“Everyone, don’t panic. Let’s gather together. These beast cores are valuable resources!” Wreyshouted. The wage of avarice was death. When Wrey mentioned the beast cores, those planning toflee changed their minds. With their numbers, in addition to the members of the sects, they might standa chance fighting those demon – beasts.

Most importantly, they would be able to extract plenty of beast cores from that horde of demon beasts. If they ran away, they wouldn’t gain anything. Wrey and the others began to huddle together andadopted a battle stance.

No one was paying attention to Jared and Matthew any longer. After all, with that many demon beasts, they could easily trample Jared and his party to death.

Colors drained from Matthew’s, Archer’s, and Skyler’s faces when they saw the sea of demon beastscharging at them. Archer and Skyler shielded Matthew, desperately hoping the demon beasts wouldn’tstep on their master. “Mr. Campbell, don’t worry. These demon beasts are my subordinates. They won’tharm you,” Jared said.

“Your subordinates?” Matthew and his disciples stared at Jared in astonishment. Jared smiled anddidn’t explain further. Instead, he waved his hand. “Attack! Bite those b*stards to death!”

Wrey and the others looked at Jared as if the – latter had lost his mind. How is he still in the mood tomake jokes when facing the demon beasts’ assault?

However, soon, a scene that shocked them occurred. Upon reaching where Jared and his party stood, the demon beasts suddenly parted, forming a path instead of attacking them. The beasts roared andrushed straight toward Wrey and his group, rendering them too astounded to speak.
