Compared to taking Pablo on, facing the demon beasts was the easier option. Yet, right before Jaredstarted cutting them down, the beasts instinctively avoided him, passing him by to charge at Pablo.
The fact that the hordes of beast didn’t attack him left Jared staring blankly at them. Upon regaining hissenses, Jared quickly checked the spirit beast egg and noticed that it was glowing. Moreover, itseemed to be wiggling at him, as if to claim credit for saving Jared’s life.
It became clear to Jared that the demon beasts were summoned by the spirit beast egg, and it wasalso the reason why they didn’t attack him.
“Damn, what an amazing treasure!” Jared exclaimed as he stared at the spirit beast egg in delight. It’salready this powerful in egg form. I wonder how much stronger it will be when it hatches.
As Jared’s imagination began to run wild, his mind conjured up the scene of him roaming the EtherealRealm on the back of a magnificent spirit beast, practically invincible.

A sudden explosion knocked Jared back to his senses.
