Chapter 3394

As the dust gradually settled, Jared’s figure was nowhere to be seen.

“Hmph, trying to escape from me? In your dreams…”

The calm Pablo let out a snort before setting off in pursuit. Shortly after, Jared’s figure came into hisview.

Meanwhile, sensing Pablo’s approaching presence, Jared couldn’t help but furrow his brows as herealized that the former had managed to track him down.

“You’re trying to escape despite being a mere First Level Tribulator? You had better resign yourself todeath instead.”

As he picked up speed, Pablo’s figure disappeared in a flash. In the blink of an eye, he caught up withJared. Despite his use of Wind Walk, Jared just couldn’t put any distance between him and his pursuer.

“F*ck, how powerful is this guy?” Jared grumbled with narrowed eyes.

The moment Jared came into view, Pablo reached out his hand and clenched his fist. Plumes of blacksmoke instantaneously morphed into metal chains that flew toward Jared.

Every single chain resembled a viper that was hissing with its tongue out. Soon, the chains came atJared from all directions, cornering him.

However, right before he was about to be ensnared by the chains, a blistering white light flashedwithout warning.

Swoosh!

All Jared saw a pitch-black darkness before light quickly returned to his vision. By then, he was milesfrom where he originally was, as if he had somehow teleported himself away.

The fact that he didn’t know any such techniques made the sudden development even moreastonishing.

“W-What in the world happened?”

Jared was left stunned, clueless as to how he had appeared there without any warning. At the sametime, Pablo’s initial shock was soon replaced with a look of elation. “I’m surprised he actually knowsteleportation magecraft.”

He had assumed that Jared used teleportation magecraft to travel through space and time, catchinghim off guard by reappearing miles away.

With that thought in mind, Pablo leaped into the air and landed near Jared, glaring at him. “Young man,I’m surprised that you actually know so many different forms of magecraft despite your low cultivationlevel. It seems I must absorb all of them from you for myself.”

No sooner had Pablo finished than he reached out toward Jared, who turned to flee as taking Pablohead-on was suicide.

While running, Jared began to contemplate what just happened. When an epiphany struck him, hereached out deep into his Storage Ring with his spiritual sense.novelbin

Focusing his attention on the gem-carved watch, he noticed that its hands had moved and were nolonger in their previous position. Could it be that it’s a time spell instead of teleportation magecraft?

Jared was filled with shock.

He was surprised that the watch would refuse to budge despite all his efforts, yet it moved on its ownwhen it was left alone.

Just as Jared was mired in confusion, he sensed a powerful attack coming from behind. Pablo hadonce again unleashed his chains at Jared in an attempt to trap the latter.

Unfortunately, Jared couldn’t escape no matter how desperately he used Wind Walk, for the gap in skillbetween the two was just too great.

It was when he was gripped by panic that he noticed the markings on the spirit beast egg had begun toglow. Immediately after, a white light flashed on the watch’s surface before its hand moved again.

Jared was left dumbfounded by the turn of events. He hadn’t expected the spirit beast egg to be behindthe watch’s movements.

The very next moment, the dangerous aura behind him vanished. Upon turning to look, Jared saw thathe had already left Pablo a few miles behind him.
