Chapter 43 Jennifer Takes Action
The two continued to eat then. But Conrad noticed that Ashley kept staring at him with a smile on her
face.
Conrad knocked on the table with his fingers, "Hey, why are you always staring at me? I am not the
food."
"Do you have a girlfriend?" She suddenly asked.
"No. What's the matter?"
"Then why don't you be my boyfriend?" Ashley suddenly made a surprising statement.
Conrad was drinking his soup and almost spit it out when he heard that. He wiped the corners of his
mouth and said helplessly, "Hey, we've only known each other for a few hours, right? How can we be
lovers so quickly?"

Conrad could easily break away from the police. But they were public servants after all. He also

punish Maddox.
Conrad was no longer worried. Instead, he began to comfort Ashley and told her to relax.
Sure enough, after ten minutes, the police informed Conrad that he could leave. His act was defined as
