Chapter 53
Chapter 53 – The Heir LAURA
It has been a few weeks since Valerie told us of the vision, and today Liam and I are going to the
hospitalt
I knock on the door to Liam’s office before walking in, and he smiles big when he sees me coming in.
He has been working tirelessly on training the warriors and preparing shelters in case Miles comes
here with his warriors to fight. He also has warriors around the house at all hours of the day and night.
He says he doesn’t want to say surprises, and that he does so we can still go to the garden and still be
safe. He stands up and comes to put his strong arms around me and kisses me.
“Is it time to go?” he asks and looks at his phone to check the time.
“Yes,” I say and smiles
“Let’s go see our son then.” He smiles back and opens the door for me. This is one of the reasons I
love Liam. No matter how busy a stressed he is, he takes the time to be there for me but also for the
kids.
We go outside to enter his car and drive to the hospital. When we arrive Liam insists to open the doors
for me, and I giggle at him.
Entering the hospital we are immediately shown into a room and before we know it Dr. Marshall comes
in smiling big.
king and Queen. It’s a pleasure to see you. Are you ready to see your baby?”
“Hello, doc. We are more than ready.” I say smiling. And Liam agrees.
Dr. Marshall tells me to lay on the bed and Liam helps me up. Then he put the gel on my belly and
ultrasound wand and begins his work. It doesn’t take long before we see it, the arms, legs, and then all
of him, Yes him, because it is obnoxiously a little boy. Our son, the heir, our next king.
LIAM
I remember when I first time was here when Laura was pregnant with the twins, back then I was
stunned and in awe by seeing the two small pups growing inside of her. Already then I knew I would be
there for her and them, in whatever way she needed me to be. And I am proud to be the one helping
her raise them as a father figure to them.
But this, seeing my son, my heir, the future of the whole kingdom. It gives a whole new meaning to
being a father. Don’t get me wrong. I will still love and treat Zack and Zara as if they were mine
because in my eyes they are. But seeing my unborn Son just fills me with a feeling I never thought I
would experience. I look at Laura and see that she like me has tears in her eyes. I sit down next to her,
hold her hand, and whisper to her belly. 1
“Hey, there my son. We are waiting for you. Me, your mother, your brother, and your sister. And
everyone else.” I smile as we see the baby on the screen moving while I am speaking to him.
Laura smiles brightly.
“He is a fighter, just like his dad.”
“He needs to be,” I answer.
After checking the scan Dr. Marshall goes to receive the pictures he took and set them to be printed.
“What do you want to call him?” Laura asks and I look at her, she is getting dressed after cleaning the
gel off her belly.
“If you agree. I would like to call him Xander. After my father.” She smiles and looks at me with soft
eyes.
“I like that.” She answers before I bend down and kiss her. novelbin
With pictures in our hands, we say goodbye to the dr. and leave the hospital and go home to our family.
MILES
Twins, she fucking had twins, and I am the father. I had no idea that
Laura was pregnant when I rejected her. Had I known I would have made sure she could not run away.
And one of them is a boy, my firstborn, my heir. It all makes sense why Leah gave birth to such a weak
boy. And Laura thinks she can keep him from me. But she will learn to never cross me again.
I have gathered the smaller packs that we so gratefully helped when they were attacked. Now they can
pay back by helping me attack the Royal Moon Pack so I can get my son. I don’t care much for the girl,
she is of no use for me.
Leah comes over to me where I am standing looking at the men training for battle.
“Why do we need that boy. We have a son.”
“Because my dear slutty mate, your son is weak, and not fit to be my heir.” I say coolly ignoring her
anger
“Don’t be an ass.” She says and I growl at her.
“It’s ironic really. I chose you over your sister, my mate, yet you can’t even give me a proper air, that
winning price goes to your sister.” | growl knowing it will piss her off, and I am right.
“Piss off.” She snarls and walks away and I laugh at her.
I go back to my training and planning. I am almost ready. I will kill that idiot of a king, beat his shitty heir
out of Laura, Mark her and become the new king. Yes, I want to be king, I deserve to be king. I will
keep Leah, as the king I can do what I want, and have her to fuck, that way I will have both sisters, as
the king n o one can stop me from getting what I want. Yes, the kingdom will be mine, and so will
Laura.
