Chapter 52 – Plans
LAURA
I woke up feeling a bit cold, and see that Liam has already left. Usually, he always stays until I am
awake, s o it is unusual for me to wake up alone.
I get out of bed and go shower before I go and get dressed in a loose-fitted dress and make my way
into the nursery. There on the floor are Liam and the twins, the twins jumping on him and giggling. I
laugh and Liam looks over at me and smiles.
“They were awake early, so got up and went in here. I didn’t want to wake you up.” He tells me and I
smile back at him. He stands up walking over to me with something in his hand. With a closer look, I
see it is the bracelet Valerie made for us.
“I wanted to wait for you.” He tells me and I nod my head. We both walk over to the twins and he takes
Zara and sits her on his knee so she is facing me. I take her small wrist and puts the bracelet on. A
surge o fa pure but powerful feeling hits the room. And Zara’s eyes glow a little before they change
from her normal eye color to a beautiful ice blue color. This is one of the spells Valerie made, hiding the
most obvious thing that shows that she is more than a normal child and wolf.
After that is done Liam army both of them downstairs for breakfast. Everyone is already seated at the
table and they all take a short look at Zara’s now blue eyes. My dad smiles brightly, before coming over
and kissing my forehead. And then Zara’s cheek.
“My beautiful granddaughter. Thank goodness you can be safe growing up.” He looks at me and
smiles.
“Valerie did a good job.” He says and I nod.
“Yes, she did. I will forever be grateful for what she has done. But she might have been too late.” I say
sadly.
“What you mean dear,” Rosa asks me but it is Liam that answers and tells them everything Valerie told
us yesterday.
“What can we do?” my dad asks.
“I have already sent a spy to keep eye on both of them. I have also put more patrols in and there will be
guards here around the house. I won’t let anyone hurt any of them, Bryan.” Liam says and dad nods.
After that, we all start eating our breakfast and the men talk about the training of the warriors. While
Rosa and Cora want to know if we will have the baby in his own room or in the nursery with the twins. I
have actually not thought much about it, but think that, to begin with, him being in the nursery with the
twins will be fine. And in a year or two when we begin thinking about the twins getting their own rooms,
he can have his too. I notice Liam paying attention to our conversation and he smiles.
‘That sounds like a great plan baby.’ His voice sounds in my head. I smile knowing I don’t really need to
answer.
After breakfast, Liam kisses me softly and then the twin’s head before he heads out to work with his
warriors. Cora, Rosa, and the kids go to the living room and find some toys for them to play with.

Mack, Bryan, and I all walk out to the training grounds I think we all need to blow off some steam.
Bryan is understandable and angry that Laura and the twins once again have become a target, and so
am I. I start with sparing with Bryan, and I can easily see that he is a great fighter, and knowing that he
will do

anything to keep them safe I ask him if he wants to be in the lead regarding Laura’s and the twins
safety.
“Are you sure? I mean, of course, I will do anything to make sure no harm comes with their range. But
son, I am still new here. And I know you and I don’t know each other that well yet.” He says. And this
I’d exactly how I know my decision was the right one.
“I am sure. You have done a lot already Bryan. Thanks to you we got Valerie’s help keeping Zara’s gifts
a secret. I have no doubt and I also think Laura will be happier with you around.” I tell him.
“Then it’s my honor to keep my daughter and grandkids safe.”
“Perfect. Mack is the one you will work with. As my Beta, I put him to protect his queen. With the both
of you on that, I can relax a little and concentrate more on making sure my warriors are ready.” Bryan
nods and is about to say something when he receives a text. He reads it and smiles, giving me the
phone. It’s a text from Valerie.
*Please tell the king, that I will help keep the queen and all their kids safe. If he wishes. There are many
ways where I can help.*
I look at Bryan and smile. As a Werewolf, we don’t usually like witches very much. But I have to admit,
that this old woman is growing on me. And I will gladly accept any help she wants to offer. And also
make sure she doesn’t do it for free. Fuck I would pay her everything I own, even my title if it meant she
could assure me that no harm will ever happen to Laura the twins, and our unborn son.
“She really is something you don’t meet every day,” I say and Bryan chuckles. novelbin
“Rumor has it that she decent from the Moon-goddess bloodlines. With one parent not being a wolf, but

“A witch.” Bryan nods.
“I will see what she has in mind and let you know.” He says.
“Thank you. Looks like that so far we have everything covered.” I say and turn to look out on my
warriors. “If it’s a fight he wants. That’s what I will give him. But then I can no longer promise that I
won’t kill him.”
