Chapter 2706

Chapter 2706

"Alright, you've won. If you want it so badly, you can have it," Leon said calmly.

"Let us have it? Kid, get off your high horse. You're just giving up because you can't afford to bid

against me!" Bucky mocked, sighing a breath of relief inwardly.

After all, this piece of jadeite was hardly worth 9 million and if Leon continued to bid, he would have to

consider giving up.

Thankfully, Leon seemed to have reached his limit and gave up, so he defeated Leon as he wished.

"Yeah. You're just a vice president, so what makes you think you can compete against US? Know your

place!" Aurelia sneered in contempt.

Wearing a triumphant look, Aurelia took the opportunity to mock Leon.

"How foolish!" Renee laughed angrily as she observed the arrogant looks on Bucky and Aurelia's

faces.

She knew Hugh and Cynthion Group.

During Jaxon's bouquet, Hugh spent 287 million and purchased all the rare herbs despite competing

with all the others.

In terms of financial power, Cynthion Group might surpass the most powerful families.

If Hugh truly wanted the jadeite, Aurelia and Bucky could not compete with him.

The jadeite simply was not worth that much and Hugh gave up on bidding because he did not want to

waste money.

Amusingly, Bucky and Aurelia felt smug about it and that was beyond foolish.

"Miss Morrison, are you embarrassed because your boyfriend couldn’t compete with me and Bucky?"

Aurelia retorted.novelbin

Contrary to what Renee thought, Aurelia did not think that she was being foolish and merely assumed

that Renee was frustrated that she lost.

She felt extremely pleased.

"Whatever you say!" Renee scoffed and ignored her.

"Alright. Pack this jadeite up!" Seeing as Renee caved, Aurelia grew smugger and commanded the

saleswoman, preparing to pay.

"Well, sir, are you sure you don't want this anymore?" The saleswoman was quite disappointed that

Leon gave up.

She stared at him with anticipation, seemingly trying to convey some sort of message.

The crafted jadeites in the shop fixed prices and bidding was not allowed.

The bidding Bucky initiated was solely voluntary and had nothing to do with the shop.

Hence, she wanted Leon to keep raising the price to teach Bucy and Aurelia a lesson.

It did not matter how much Leon offered as she could always sell it to him at the original price in

private.

After all, it was Leon who requested to purchase the jadeite first and according to the rules, she should

be selling it to him.

Though she could obtain a thousand commission by selling the jadeite at 9 million, she was sick of

Aurelia's arrogant attitude.

She simply did not wish to sell the jadeite to Aurelia and Bucky to encourage their inappropriate

behavior.
