Chapter 2653

Chapter 2653

ì see!" Caleb and the others came to a realization.

They finally understood that Hugh was merely a guest and not a member of the Dragon Corps.

Naturally, that would mean he was not someone with a higher position than Howard as well.

However, upon further consideration, they realized something odd.

Dragon Corps was a special organization that governed the world of martial artists and not everyone

could just become friends with its members.

Hugh, on the other hand, was referred to as an esteemed guest, and two Platinum Dragon Guards

were sent to escort him home, which meant he was hardly an ordinary person.

There was far more to Hugh than they initially imagined. He was more than just a vice president of

Cynthion Group because he would not be able to exert such authority otherwise.

Realization dawned on them and they all realized that they underestimated Hugh.

"Elder Morrison, why are you all here? Did something happen?" Howard realized that almost exposed

Hugh's true identity and swiftly changed the subject.

"Oh, here's the thing. We're all here to collaborate with Mister Wolf," Caleb explained.

Upon learning that Hugh had connections, Caleb had a newfound respect for him and his tone becamenovelbin

more respectful.

"Collaborate?" Howard and Fletcher exchanged confused glances, wondering what type of

collaboration would get all these big shots to gather around.

One thing they knew for sure was that this business collaboration had to be one of a kind.

"Mister Wolf, so you're here for business. Howard and I have some connections and resources here in

the western region so let US know if you need anything. We can introduce some people to you to help

resolve your concerns," Fletcher proposed.

Leon eliminated the Poisonwielder and rescued a few Dragon Guards from the western region

including Fletcher.

There was not a moment that Fletcher allowed himself to forget about this.

Upon learning that Leon was here for business, he knew that Leon had no connection in the western

region and was worried that he might be at a disadvantage when he was in negotiation with Caleb and

the others.

Hence, he proposed to introduce Leon to more people to prevent Leon from suffering any loss.

"Yeah. Mister Wolf, let US know if you need anything and we will do our best to help," Howard nodded

in agreement.

Upon learning that Leon took down four criminals, he developed a deep respect for Leon. If Leon was

truly facing difficulties, he would not hesitate to help.

"What the-" Caleb and the others instantly paled.

Hugh was supposed to be an outsider with low status and no backers in the western region. Hence, a

lot of them were convinced by Jayden to team up against him so that the profit division would be set to

fifty-fifty.

To their bewilderment, they could not be more wrong.

Hugh was connected to the Dragon Corps. On top of that, both Howard and Fletcher even proposed to

introduce more people to Hugh.

The western region was vast and there were plenty of powerful families.

As Platinum Dragon Guards, Howard and Fletcher each had different families backing them, and they

were also close with a lot of powerful families.

If the people present attempted to scheme against Hugh, he merely needed to seek Howard or

Fletcher's help to search for other potential partners and their scheme would not work.

At the time, they would only be digging their graves.

Instantly, they all felt a mixture of emotions.
