“Joel is right! Yuri, you have no right to interfere in our business, regardless of what it is we do! Youhave not only trespassed on our territory but even harmed my son. Are you trying to start a warbetween the Thompsons and us Hiltons?” Sebastian snapped with a steely look. He knew full well thatit was wrong of Joel to even sabotage Elegante Group in the first place, but the Thompsons had noright to serve them justice like that. As wrong as Joel was to do this, there was no right of Yuri to punish him like that!
“What do you mean, this has nothing to do with the Thompsons? I’m not afraid to let you know that theThompsons are one of Elegante Group’s shareholders, and so we have as much right as anyone toprotect Elegante Group!” Yuri sneered.
“What?” both Sebastian and Joel were stunned to hear this. They all initially thought that Yuri wasacting out of line, and no matter how much Yuri threatened to hurt them, they knew that they were therightful ones.
They never once dreamed that the Thompsons would turn out to be one of Elegante Group’sshareholders, and if what Yuri claimed was true, then the Thompsons had every right to interfere!
Joel finally realized that he was tricked by Yuri!
He questioned Yuri over and over before this, and yet Yuri refused to admit his relation to the EleganteGroup. It was clear that Yuri was setting up a trap for him. If he knew of the Thompsons‘ connection tothe Elegante Group, Joel would never have attempted to confront Yuri in the first place and end upbeing defeated!
His guesses were correct–Yuri deliberately concealed his connection to the Elegante Group in hopesthat Joel would continue denying the truth, which would give him all the reasons to attack and teachJoel a lesson!
His intention of coming here in the first place was to punish Joel for what he did to Leon and theElegante Group!
Now that Yuri got the satisfaction he wanted, and even Sebastian got involved in this, there was nolonger any need to hide the Thompsons‘ connection to the Elegante Group anymore!
“Is this reason enough for me to interfere, President Hiltons? A portion of Elegante Group belongs to usThompsons, so isn’t it within reason me to punish Joel for what he did to Elegante Group?” Yurisnickered.
“Um,” Sebastian was rendered speechless by this.
He was not the only one utterly baffled–even Joel himself was frozen in shock! He initially thought thatElegante Group was just a small, insignificant company from another city. Not only that, but Leon wasnot even related to the Thompsons, so there was no reason for the Thompsons to protect them sofiercely at all!
However, he never once imagined that Elegante Group would turn out to be one of the Thompsons‘investments, and this realization changed everything!
