After dealing with Willie, Leon, and Iris prepared to get in the car and leave.
At that moment, footsteps could be heard. Penny and Andy both hurried over.
“Leon, y–you’re alright?”
Andy was shocked to see that Leon was fine.
When Leon left the jade store, Andy guessed that Willie would probably seek Leon out for revenge.
Willie was at the Semi Overlord State. He felt like there was no way a country bumpkin from SpringfieldCity like Leon would be able to beat Willie!
Yet, he never expected Leon to be completely unharmed. There was no trace of Willie anywhere either.
It greatly surprised him!
“What is it?” Leon looked at Andy curiously, not understanding what Andy meant.
“Oh, it’s nothing,” Andy let out a few dry laughs when he recovered from the surprise.
“Is that so?”
Leon realized something when he saw Andy’s expression looking a bit unnatural. Leon seemed tounderstand something.
However, Andy was not a big deal, and Andy was Penny’s fiance as well. He would not get into anargument with Andy for no reason.
“That’s right. Have you bought your gift, Andy?” Iris looked at Penny and asked.
“Yes, we have,” Penny answered.
After she and Andy bought the gift, she finally remembered that Willie was not that kind of a person!
With Willie’s personality and his family’s animosity toward the Scammells, it was very possible thatWillie would have set up an ambush to wait for Leon!
With that in mind, she immediately pulled Andy out and rushed over in concern.
“Iris, Willie is a petty and narrow–minded person. He’ll try and get revenge! Did you and Leon meethim?” Penny said in concern.
“We already have!” Iris nodded.
“What?”
“Then where is he?”
Penny and Andy were both shocked to hear that.
Andy in particular thought that Willie decided to show mercy when he saw that Leon was fine.
Yet, the two sides met already!
“He was beaten away by Leon,” Iris said truthfully.
“Beaten away?”
“How could that be possible?!”
Penny and Andy were both shocked. They could not believe their ears.
They knew how strong Wilie was. He was already in the Semi–Overlord State. Amongst the generation,of the ancient martial arts families, he was one of the strongest!
Leon was just someone insignificant from a small place like Springfield City. He was young as well, sohow could he have the ability to do that?
The two of them exchanged a confused look. They could not figure out if what Iris said was true!
“It’s fine, no matter what, it’s alright if the two of you are fine,” Penny did not care about it after sherecovered from the shock.
Seeing was believing,
She did not see it herself. She did not think that Leon would be able to defeat Willie. It was not realisticat allnovelbin
She felt like they probably just argued until Willie left with his men, as opposed to truly fighting.
She could not think of any other possibility!
“Penny, Iris, and I still have other things to do. We’ll take our leave for now.”
Leon did not bother explaining things. He bid his farewells to Penny before both sides left.
