"Nothing else. Mom, go rest!" Brendon ushered Amiya out of the study.
As soon as she stepped outside, Robert eagerly approached her. Seeing Amiya's gloomyexpression, his heart sank.
"Madam..."
"Don't mention Turner's matter again! And tell him not to speak nonsense. If I hear anything fromhim, don't blame me for being impolite!" Amiya spoke in a calm tone but with a warning undertone.
Fortunately for Robert, she didn't mention his job security. He breathed a sigh of relief and held ontohis position.
But inside he harbored resentment towards Ranita.
Amiya returned to her bedroom where Holly was waiting for her. "Mom, how is my brother doing?"
"What can he do? Can I change what he has decided?" Amiya's tone was already unpleasant. Shehad spent years trying to keep her family in Boulderland Mansion and raise her own son intosuccess but he had turned against her wishes.
"Oh... what about Turner? Will he rat me out if my brother finds out it was me who wanted Turner..."Holly trailed off as Amiya interrupted her mid-sentence.
"What nonsense are you talking about? You didn't even talk to Turner today!"
"Don't bring this up again! Do you understand?"
Holly nodded happily at the thought that as long as it wasn't related to herself then everything wouldbe fine. She clung affectionately onto Amiya's arm and cooed, "Thank you mom! You're so good tome!"
"Hmph! Think about the consequences before doing anything next time. There were so manypeople at this welcome party today. If something went wrong, it could have easily become gossipfodder." Although she despised Ranita just like everyone else did at Boulderland Mansion, she alsodidn't want any negative rumors spreading around either.
"I know! I'm just angry!" Holly bit down on her lip thinking back on what she saw earlier which madeher feel uneasy. "Mom... you don't know that woman Ranita. One moment she's clinging onto mybrother and then next thing you know she's cozying up with Dylan and now openly flirting with Christoo?! If I don't teach that woman a lesson, how can I get rid of this hatred in my heart?"
Amiya frowned at the words. "Is this really happening?"
"Of course! Forget about Dylan, but now she's shamelessly going after Chris..." Amiya had longnoticed Holly's interest in Chris, but he was several years older and hadn't shown any interest inHolly, so Amiya didn't want her daughter to pursue him.
"It looks like Ranita can't stay in Kurima anymore!" Amiya had thought it wouldn't be a big deal to letthings play out for a few days, but now it seemed necessary to get rid of Ranita as soon aspossible.

Ranita was dazed and felt herself being lifted up.
This person smelled different from Brendon. There was a fresh soap scent... After a moment ofconfusion, Ranita remembered that she must have gotten into Chris' car.
So the person holding her should be Chris!
"Mr. Webster..." Ranita blushed and half-closed her eyes with lazy glances that were still veryalluring.
Chris' heart raced with excitement.
"Ranita, we'll be there in a moment!" Chris said as he walked, his pace quick. Ranita feltdisoriented, her head spinning, and her body uncomfortable. Being so close to Chris was making itworse. She worried about what might happen if she made a mistake.novelbin
Ranita felt like everything was swaying, and when she was carried into a luxurious bathroom, shefinally realized, "Uh... where is this?"
